Those studies aren't conclusive by the way. There is still massive amounts of research needed to be done. We do know for certain that regular sugar in those kinds of quantities is terrible.

Yeah, I mean, the consensus is pretty much that sugar and artificial sugar are bad for you, but not always in the same way.

Yeah diet dr. pepper is the only diet soda I can tolerate. After the second one you almost get used to it.

I don't mind diet Sprite/7up either.

I'd recommend the Dr. Pepper 10. I always thought Diet Dr. Pepper was pretty close to regular, but DP10 is really really close.

I'm pretty sure you've never had the regular then... Diet Dr. Pepper tastes very watered down.

This is the approach i took. Landed me in the hospital for 28 days. Get tested, drink diet. A week later you wont notice it's diet. A year later i want to go back 5 years and punch past-me square in the face. /rant

I like the glass sides. About the booze, if you look closely at the first picture you can see a few bottles beside my tower. Which is whiskey, vodka, and rum. In my room is a glass display case filled with jack daniels and crown royal. About 2 litres of crown royal. Mmmmmmm

The beer is in the beer fridge upstairs beside the wine cooler. Coors light and Richards white if your asking. :)

It's better to think of it as an easy and convenient alcohol delivery medium rather than an actual beverage.

Vodka is more efficient. In fact, any beer with a higher ABV is more efficient as an alcohol delivery medium, and tastes nicer.

Is that chair comfortable? If I were you I'd invest in a ergonomic one and you'd be set!

Herman Miller Embody is the most comfortable chair I've sat in. I couldn't pony up the $1500 for one though and settled for a Mirra.

I agree with you, here. I have a room in my basement for my computer, and eventually more media related stuff, but it's just the office. I will never call it a man cave.

Ikea. The manufacturer is called "Gallant" or something. What I like about this desk is you can buy more parts to expand it on both sides. :)

The manufacturer is Ikea, Galant is the name of the model. In fact almost everything at Ikea is manufactured by themselves.

No stress, I'm Swedish so it's my job to be anal about Ikea :)

I just make a folder on the desktop and drag all the icons there. Looks nicer but you still have all your icons.

I worked at Goodwill for 2 years as a dock worker. If it isn't sold at the store, it comes to me to be either thrown into scrap metal, or into a garbage compactor. Instead of crushing it, I bought it for $0.50. :)

Are you my dad? He has a Dr. Pepper obsession as well. Bought him a nice vintage DP poster for fathers day once, now I think I'm going to get him a clock. I think it would like lovely in the garage near his poster. Assuming I can keep this up he will have a wall dedicated to dr. pepper in about 10 years.

I recently moved into this house so the projector room was included. Everything on and around my desk totals to about $3500 CDN. I try to get deals on everything I purchase.

It was a personal gym before I moved in. That's why there are mirrors around the room.

I bought mine from Ikea. Just search "Galant" on their site. There is a decent amount of parts for customization.

I worked part-time at Goodwill throughout highschool for 3 years. I am the guy who throws out the items that don't sell at the stores. Anyways, I just hoarded my earnings and bought items I could get on sale.

I'd recognize that keyboard anywhere... I used the one that came with my HP desktop for at least 6 years before grabbing a mechanical.

I have that same gateway, even though i have upgraded pretty much everything except mobo and cpu, i7 860 is still good enough.
