Please please tell me you mean mineral oil.

Yes I mean oil, I realized my typo after I already had posted it.

I read today that mineral oil will seep into your pvc coverings. Dude was saying it ended up seeping up the video cable to the monitor. Hope you have a different experience.

This is sooo much more trouble then its worth.
