Details: 8 Man LAN,
3 on laptop, 5 on pc.
I'm hosting something like this soon. How did you guys all connect to the network?
The way i ran it, is i had my wireless router in that room, which is also a 5 port switch. With that router, i ran an ethernet cable to a seperate 8 port switch, which allowed all 7 people on that switch to have internet connection, as well as the other 4 ports left on my router.
