What is your server for?

Yeah usually a home server is used for storage but I only count two hard drives. Maybe a web server? But then why not use the perfectly capable box right next to it?

One for gaming / dev and another for production?

No reason to separate the two unless we're talking some crazy compile times.

It's what I do.

Sometimes it's cool to just have a server at the ready. And it's a cool project made more fun by mounting it to a wall.

One is my gaming setup, the other (server) was a project I had in my mind for sometime. I plan on replacing one drive with another 3 TB drive to have a full 6TB of storage.

Time to get two more dells...

That sounds pretty damn sweet, especially if they're like your server build, a bit of diversity would be amazing. I'm halfway through my second year and itching for a job already.

Going from this I'm sure you'll do very well, even though I usually build my own systems I know I'd struggle to resist throwing money at you (if I had any) for a system as well-designed as this. Great job! Your whole setup looks absolutely incredible.

What's the LED strip light you used in your server build if you don't mind me asking? Also Badass builds! :D

Its actually an NZXT Hue strip, then I found this system actually allows you to control them VIA a remote, that way I didn't have to use controller it came with. Plus it still has a lot of the functionality you would get if you were to use the HUE controller.

I love the remote color changing. If like to know this as well.

I have an FTP server on it that i use for file transfers, WAMP for a personal website im setting up, Plex for media streaming, and a TF2 server to top it off.

Everything was custom designed and cut, im the only one with the part and hole layouts at the moment. I am, however, planning on building and selling them at some point in the near future.

I'm sure I'm not the only one looking forward to this.

Could i possibly get the blueprints for the inside plate for the mobo and parts possibly though? if i ever get around to making it ill post on the back credit to you :) (i will not sell them ever.)
