As much as it's his own money, He really should have consulted some audio guys on the audio side of his setup. I feel like he spent so much money on a mixer he doesn't have any real need for. With a computer like that I'm sure he can run software to do peak monitoring and compression.

I want to say your just jealous but you're totally right. That mixer was over kill but the computer really is just a computer. He could have a fiber setup to compress and record on a server somewhere else in his home.
I preferred is older setup with the 3 huge monitors. Still having 6 XL2420Ts compared to my 1 makes me really freaking jelly
Can we have some specs for that computer?
