Many of the setups we see in this coolcomputersetups are devoid of any type of personality. Your station screams of personal interests and hobbies and I actually feel your passion due to that.

I actually bought the same stand for my PS3 and monitor, I believe it was this stand.

I have that same chair. It looks equally as disgusting on the arm rests.

Me too, same problem. Does yours also slip into recline mode at random and scare the hell out of you?

Thankfully not yet. I expect it to start happening any day now though.

Upvote for Hikaru's VF-1J! I used to have a similar one, but it was either Hikaru's or Focker's Strike VF-1S from Macross DYRL. Don't know where it went now...

I have the Transformers G1 Jetfire version of that model. Your close-up photo brought back so many memories... sweetest transformer/robotech model ever.

I have one, too. I like it. It takes up a lot of space, but the interior is very roomy, and the ability to swap out hard drives without any cord swapping is monumentally awesome.

I also have one. Veryyy nice to build with, and you can easily remove the top and both side panels with thumb screws. extremely easy to upgrade.

Probably one of the best damn cases I ever worked in.

What case is it? I've seen similar but that looks like the closest fit to my needs I've ever seen in that format.

How's the armor a30? Is it any good?

I have the original Armor design, not the A30. A30 wouldn't have enough space for my setup. I have 6 internal drives and run SLI. That's why the HAF looks interesting because most of the 'desktop' designs of that style are too small for me.

I love it, it makes it pretty easy to route cables and fits perfect on top of a file cabinet in my office. It also isolates drive heat from main component heat with a physical barrier. The only downside I've run into is the front panel is a pain to clean, and my front panel connectors couldn't support USB 3.0. Eventually they replaced that panel for me, but it took a comically long time to get the new part.

I'm also a fan of 2001: A Space Odyssey. That screensaver doesn't fool me, bookmark for that.

This is one badass setup - all I have is a dining table with my laptop on it :( using the keyboard it provides and a Razer Mamba mouse with SteelSeries mousepad - sigh, my gaming setup lol.

Those fightsticks! Are they good? I kinda want to get into fighting games in the future when I get a better pc. Recommend any good fightsticks? Those giant SFIV fighting sticks are quite expensive.

Yea Madcatz TE are probably the most popular stick I see. A majority of players I saw at Evo had either a Madcatz TE edition or Qanba Q4

Haven't tried Injustice yet, but I did enjoy MK9 when playing at friends houses. I'll give it a shot if it's similar.

Yeah it's back-to-block and has alternate controls for sf style inputs. It's fun

Madcatz TE (tournament edition) sticks are pretty much the standard, you can find them pretty cheap used on ebay. If your going to play on pc you need the ps3 version, I can't get my xbox stick to work on pc.

Looks like he bought the cheapest stick Madcatz makes and put his own buttons in and replaced the stick. I have the same one, you can get them for like $20, but you will have to replace the parts. The parts that come with it are ass. It is called the wwe stick if I remember correctly, it has a picture of the rock on it.

I'm not 100% on this, but the size looks just about right.

AHHHHHH!!! I never understood why my G1 Transformer looked like a Robotech Valkyrie. You have solved one of the greatest mysteries of my Childhood. I'm dragging my Jetfire out of my old lockerbox as soon as I get home.

The only extra parts that came with it were the missile attachments for the wings, and the gun in it's hands.

How do you like the Quickfire? I recently got mine and all in all I really do like it, however not having dedicated delete/home/end/arrow keys is really frustrating and I regret not getting the Trigger.

It took me several days to get used to switching between the numerical keys and the page keys, but now I can't go back to normal size keyboards. I think they take up too much space.

I like your setup, the only question I may have is, how do you manage the heat, I feel that there can be a lot of heat dissipation due to the way that the consoles are accomodated.

Heat wasn't a problem actually. I was surprised that it wasn't.

That case is absolutely great. I really love the drive docks on the front. I hope I can use this case for my upcoming Hackintosh build because those drive bays would save me a lot of hassle.

Excellent case to work with. The only caveat is that you have to plan ahead with the build.

I love this - one question, the little shelves you have your consoles and other devices on - where did you get them? I have been looking to do something similar with my desk but been unable to find shelving that size/shape that I like. It doesn't look like it is part of the desk? This looks awesome, thanks!

Do yourself a favor and spend more than 12 dollars on speakers.

Do you have a recommendation for small, USB powered speakers?

Because I have limited space on my desk, and also limited power plugs since I have to share my outlet with my regular components and those plugged into a transformer. So having the speakers be USB powered alleviates taking an extra power plug.

Logitech z-2300's are the best speakers around for quality/price. They were discontinued to allow Logitech to sell cheaper versions but there are still used sets everywhere.

There's no real link, since I found the model at a hobby shop in Japan.

I also have the Cooler Master HAF XB and was going to replace the two front fans. What fans are you using in your system?

I have a Cooler Master Seidon 240 CLC in the front.

+1 for HAF XB love. I replaced my two front fans with 2 CM blue LED 120s, put the stock case fans on my Hyper 212 cooler since they're higher cfm in push/pull and the stock cooler fan on the exhaust. XD

Wow, I love that case. For whatever reason my tower is currently on its side, having a case that is actually meant to be flat is probably the way for me to go :p

What are those fans in the front? I have the same case and am going to switch them out to fans w/ LED's and those look awesome.

The front fans in this case are rather loud i think. I should change them. Is there a way to lower their speed? i cant seem to find how.

I use Asus' AI Suite software. They have a pretty good fan controller software.

You could replace them, or put them on a controller.

How are you finding temperatures that case?

GPU temps are normal. Nothing too different from any other GTX 680.

My rig is sitting on the exact same side table you have, I kid you not.

I don't really have a heating problem with the consoles. The PS3 runs cool anyway, and the heat is expelled in the back. I keep the Xbox on top for the top fan to blow air out.

I've had to resort to placing my xbox on top of a large fan so it can survive BF3.
