Wanting to get one of those Galants but in a L shape

I have 2 of the Galants showing up tomorrow.

Just bought one myself, very happy with it. The summera computer mount for underneath is is great for keeping ur PC off the floor and easy wire management

If I had one of those my desk would flip itself :-/ Such is the life of a full tower user

I'm planning to buy a Galant corner desk and extending it with another straight Galant desk.

Well I'm looking for an L shaped table that's about 5 feet long on both sides of the L so I would have to buy two straight ones.

Sorta like that but with two straight tables and one L table Ill post where it's going to go

That the desk I'm looking for can't find it on IKEA can you give me a link if possible

It's a system, that set-up looks like a corner piece, two straight pieces, 2 end caps, 6 A-frame legs, and 3 supports. They're all sold and packaged separately, and it's up to you to decide how you want it (it does come with instructions).

I'm considering buying this one. If you do, can you let me know how it goes?

I have one of these chairs, which is surprising because I live in New Zealand and I bought it here. It is a cheap piece of shit, and when you sit on it it feels like a cheap piece of shit.

I'm using the Samson SP01 Shockmount Spider Mount and the MD5 Samson mic stand :)

Do you use it for Skype and such? Dont your friends get annoyed when they hear everything in your room?

Skype all the time, also commentary. I place the input volume fairly low, so there's little background noise, I get pretty close up to the mic when using it.

So just add a bored like that I want the space as big as his it looks like he added something on top of that

I was gonna a buy a corner Gallant but it turns out that they don't ship like normal people. I settle for another desk for now but maybe someday

I bought 2 of the smaller ones and got decent shipping prices. If you get too big of a desk they have to ship it differently due to over sized shipping.

I have that keyboard and have been annoyed at the lack of a wrist rest. Which wrist rest do you have and what do you think of it?

I use a Flico wrist rest, it's nice; helps with my wrist pain a lot. However, it's £50 here, debatable if it's worth the money.

Can you post a picture of the top of your desk's legs, I have an older version of the desk that isn't height adjustable and want to see if I could just buy new legs...

A little warning: liquid can seep through the top and cause the plywood to expand and bubble. I had the same top and condensation off a cold beer made it bubble. Returned it and got the yellow one instead. Not as good looking as black, but the finish on top is much better.

I had that same chair. It has a cheap weld in the middle under the seat which eventually broke. I weigh about 195 lbs.

Nice desk, but id need more vertical/horizontal space. My jerker looks like a pile of tinker toys, but better serves my purpose.

I'm more of a Hemnes guy. I always wanted to buy a second Hemnes desk, and put it lateral to the one I have but don't know where I would find the corner to make it into an L-desk. I mean the Galant is nice but I hate how it's so empty underneath.

I have the same desk and monitor layout! I'm liking your mic placement. It probably avoids a lot of keyboard noise.

I am not taking a stance one way or the other, but where does the obsession come for this desk? I see a lot of people talking about it. I'm not being facetious, I am genuinely curious, it just gets mentioned a lot.

How do those gallant desks do with clamp-style monitor mounts? I've got a super heavy one (~30lbs without monitors) and it tilted forward and cracked my cheaper IKEA desk.
