Good to know, I'm thinking of downsizing from my Cosmos II to the R4 (or something similar) just so I can transport it to Europe easier/cheaper.

Temps didn't change too much, but thanks to haswell it is running effing hot! i added that extra fan infront of the drive cage just so theres a bit more airflow for the h100 to suck up, but the rest of the stuff is identical as the cosmos

I think they just look really clean. A fractal case will look good in just about any setup.

They do make smaller cases that have a similar design. The node 304 is a really cool looking mini itx case.

As someone who owns the older Define XL, it really is huge. And heavy. It's great if you don't intend to move it, ever.
