What is that type of TV stand called? Where the TV is mounted to it?

Why is that tubing hanging out? And won't those fans hit your chest?

Can we clean up the hanging tubing, please? For my peace of mind? Seriously, this is really well done but, the hanging tubing just makes me nervous.

Looks great but the lack of leg room would kill me.
