I actually really like the desk concept, it just looks unfinished. If you sanded, stained, and lacquered it, it would look REALLY nice!

What makes this remotely shitty?

I'll start with the lack of cable management, lack of detail shots of any components, fraying mousepad, clutter (dog treats in shot), the pc looks like perhaps an old Dell with a company asset tag on it, hairballs on the ground, and I'll end with the masochistic glory hole behind the monitor.

Did not know that sub existed sorry because that was what I was going for. But the table top is an antique door and I grew the legs for the past ten years.

Add those details! it makes it much more interesting :) Also, more pics to show it off. it also would be cool if you have a pic of the tree before (and during) the conversion into the table.

Next time more pics of the building. I visit the cedar grove twice a year to maintain and harvest the wood. I'll get some pics up this winter.

We're people. We don't all live in model homes or have extreme OCD when it comes to CM. Who cares if they didn't feel the need to squeegee their screen for some random dude on the internet because he cringes at the slightest hint of dust?

Mismatched screens, only cursory dusting on flat and exposed surfaces, very dusty inside, old hardware, that keyboard, that mouse, and you probably never actually have your desk that clean.
