Use display fusion to have more than one wallpaper.

I could, but I like running fairly stock. I tend to run things windowed maximized in the middle, then browse the web and other things on the sides and I try to run as few extra programs as I can.

What does your task bar and window configuration have to do with the wallpaper? I'm honestly confused.

A lot of people use Display Fusion to have a multi-monitor taskbar. It doesn't only do wallpaper. I find the duplicate taskbar to be annoying, but I've located it in a place that is easily accessible on two of the monitors.

Ah, there is an option though. Just uncheck the "enable taskbar on each monitor" box in the settings. I only have one task bar with display fusion.

Nice. those would be a great upgrade from 1280x800 and 1330x768.... my main monitor/tv supports something like 2560x2046 or some crazy resolution like that...but the refresh rate doesnt support it xD

I didn't say that I didn't use it only because it had that. I wasn't excluding Display Fusion because of that feature, I was merely stating that I would not use the other features it has too so it's just totally useless to me.

Its not about "multi screen wallpapers" you can have a different img on each one.

Different wallpapers might be useful, but it has also never been very compelling because the only time I see all three is when I'm taking pictures like this. I usually only see one of them and even then I only see parts. Maybe I'll give it a go again and see if I like it.

You can stitch together wallpapers side-by-side and choose the "Tile" configuration to achieve an effect of having a separate wallpaper for each screen. It's how I do it.

Win8 has native multi wallpaper support if you're interested in upgrading.

Yeah... But Win8 makes me want to vomit in my mouth when I use it....

If I may ask, what aspects of it?

It is a very difficult OS to discover. ctrl-x brings up the power user stuff, shutdown and restart is under settings, no single place to find everything in at least a tree view, the win 8 area is like a kitchen junk drawer where you can search for items by name, but you have to know their name. The OS essentially has multiple personalities and neither are very refined. Now, windows 9 or whatever they call it will almost definitely fix all of that, but win8 is a mess

If you spend more than 30 mins trying out Win8 its not that bad. I kinda like some features and theres some i truly hate.

I have it on my laptop and a couple of other machines. I've become used to it, like you get used to a splinter that won't come out. Win8 sucks.

Or make an image of both the monitors resolutions, and just drop and resize photos on each side

Do you really set up and use your laptop in front of your monitor like that? Seems like it would really limit visibility.

Line of sight is different for me sitting at the keyboard than where I took the picture from. Very very slight screen overlap. I regularly have the laptop off to that side and/or the iPad in front of me. Particularly when playing a game that has to have full screen maximized and I want to chat or browse the web too.

Amx 13 90 is also my favorite tank in WOT, bookmarking :)

That particular shot really amplifies the gun, which is pretty damn cool.

I'm looking into getting a new desk. Do you remember where you got yours and how much it was?

Yep, awesome Mic. I have some others, but I love the sound of the AT2020 on a boom. Very natural and true.

And the blue LED is a nifty bonus.

Yeah, the blue LED is pretty great in low light. Though it can be unexpectedly bright sometimes and I have to shift the Mic out of my line of sight.

I'm considering getting an AT2020. Would you say its better than the Blue Yeti?

The Blue Yeti is more adaptable if you plan to do interviews at your desk, record multiple people, etc. It also has a monitor headphone plug, etc. So, it is almost a "podcast studio in a mic". The Yeti, which I also have at work, can often pick up sound through the desk and it's stand and sound odd.

What keyboard is that? It looks super neat.

Looks like one of those Microsoft Arc keyboards.

It is a Microsoft Mobile Keyboard 6000. They don't make them anymore. I'm trying to buy up any remaining stock because I love them.

Does that keyboard curve or just the len

The Keyboard is slightly curved. It is almost exactly the same width as a regular keyboard area, slightly bowed, and no keypad.

I'm normally in the "ewww mirrored wallpapers" camp, but that actually works. Props!

What boom are you using?

It is a boom sold in Guitar Center that is typically used for drum microphones. It has a pretty heavy base and can articulate pretty well.

I like the duplicated wallpapers actually. Thanks for the advice though. I'm usually playing a game in the middle monitor, so seeing the full desktop in the side is ideal... but even then I usually have it covered up with a web browser.

That keyboard looks kind of uncomfortable

It is identical width to a normal keyboard. Just no keypad. Laptop style keys, slight rise and bowed. I've suffered from RSI for a long time and this is the keyboard that allowed some relief.

Not really, some guts from a Dell 8500 with pretty much everything that matters replaced.

Your keyboard hurts my soul.

Why? It is actually standard size. Just no keypad on the right. Which has greatly reduced my "mouse hand pain". It is also slightly bowed which really helped with my wrist pain too.

What model are the Dell monitors?

I see you went with the logitech Z-5500! I personally have a set myself and love them. Too bad they don't make them anymore a couple of my stands broke and everyone seems to be charging a ridiculous amount for replacement speakers. Sick computer setup too haha i'm working towards something like what you have there i just need to save up a little more to get the computer i want.

Lol, probably. I test software with it. IE10 still has a notable percentage of users.
