Which strip did you get?

A sylvania strip i found at Lowe's. Has a wireless receiver and remote to change to any color, its usually white or green to match the Kb/m

Try attaching it to the back of your desk just over the lip. Looks so much cleaner, that's if your desk comes away from the wall?

How is it attach to your desk? Or isnt?

Peel off adhesive on the bottom of it.
