What are the specs on that bunk bed?

How is the Samson Go-Mic? Debating between it or the Blue Snowball iCE. The Zalman mic I have just isn't holding up.

I can't compare it to the Snowball (I also considered it), but I absolutely love this Go-Mic. Its build quality is awesome. I use the cardioid mode most often and it sounds fantastic. I'd recommend getting a mic stand if you don't have one. Sound quality is great when it's a foot or two away (like I normally have it), but when it's closer to your mouth it captures voice much more accurately.

Hmm alright. I'm mainly going to be using it for gaming/commentary. I think I'll go with the Samson Go-Mic because I don't have a lot of space in my desk for a big mic. It will also look nicely along with my Samson SR-850 headset (which are a REALLY good cans for the price).

Consider a cheap pop filter as well. Although I've found that simply angling the mic when it's near my mouth works well enough.

I probably won't be near the mic and have set infront my keyboard or something. Not gonna be talking into it directly. I will be considering one if the P's and B's are noticeable from the distance.

Did you paint your 45B's or is that the regular wood finish? Can't really tell in the light.

That's the regular wood finish. They probably look a little weird in the pictures because of the lighting.

45Bs are on sale right now on Newegg for $160

They regularly go on sale for $150 every few weeks or so. I think the Monitor40 Series II's are comparable enough, but if anyone wants to buy the 45B's, I've seen them on sale for less.

How is the audio quality with the 45Bs?

I happen to love them, especially after breaking them in. The double 5.25" drivers are great at filling out the mids and reaching into the lows, and the highs are nice and crispy. I've been listening to lots and lots of lossless audio and it all sounds fantastic. I have wayyyy more power than I could ever use in my little dorm room, so I can't wait to use these to their full potential in an apartment or something next year.

Hmm... I might have to buy these then. I'll just wait until they go on sale.

What flavor whey? If you haven't tried cake batter- it's my favorite.
