Doesn't it hurt your neck looking at that third monitor on top? Or do you just use it to glance at some things?
Oh wow I didn't even notice that monitor until you mentioned it. It doesn't look so bad, but it certainly looks like there are better places for it.
I agree with you. I'll get around to moving it eventually. Unfortunately, my desk doesn't fit another monitor. I'll get a new corner desk at some point, so I can line up all three monitors at the same level. Big monitor in middle. Smaller monitors to either side. Symmetry preserved.
I use it more as a "passive" reference monitor. I do a fair amount of coding, so it is common that I have my code on the left monitor, streaming video (or more code) on the right monitor, and some sort of "cheat sheet" table on the top monitor. I actually find its separation from the other monitors to be somewhat beneficial--my eyes don't get distracted by it inadvertently.
