Computer Setup

You should move the radiator to the front if your case as an intake, you will get better cooling and it won't be as loud
I will definitely look into that.
What monitor mount is that? Where did you get it? And do you have a pic of it? Otherwise awesome gaming setup!
In the reviews, I'm seeing a lot about the arms flexing and causing the monitors not to line up. Did you have any problems like this?
I did encounter some issues with the arms flexing. The solution was to tighten up the bolts holding the arms together. Also, the fact that i have the monitors tilted towards me a little makes the monitors line up just about perfectly.
I actually looked at the floor more than I did the gaming setup.
What are the specs ?
Love the setup! Also, the wallpapers look awesome! :D
How are the monitors? I was looking at the Dell Ultrasharp's.
They aren't bad at all. Gotta fix the colors right out of the box though. Good for gaming too. Also i only paid 150 each for them.
Gotta do that for all ASUS panels except their pro series, I think. Even had to adjust my IPS panel. I feel like whoever picked the default settings for ASUS panels might be fucking blind.
That would explain a lot.
Are they IPS Panels?
They aren't, but they do have an IPS model of it now. The main reason i got them is because of the extremely thin bezels.
As someone who has two of the same monitors, I couldn't agree more that the colours out of the box weren't perfect. As someone who can't figure out the settings for the life of him, would you be able to tell me your colour settings?
I got the monitors during the summertime from Amazon. As for the colors, the first thing you wanna do is fix the contrast, i don't remember what it was out of the box, but now I'm running it at 80%. Really the color of your monitor is what appears to you best, and I'm definitely no expert. What i did was just toy around with all the settings until i found what worked. I have the Splendid in Standard, and in color temp, i tweaked the Red down a bit, the green down a but less, and the blue at full.If you find anything that looks a lot better then let me know!
Your triple monitor setup, are your monitors at an angle? That is, are the leant back
They are actually leaning slightly towards me. It gives it a better viewing angle i think.
If you don't mind me asking, what is the make of your desk?
I actually got it custom made to fit it the corner perfectly. I then cut my own cable routing holes.
I'm not a fan of corner desks, but damn, you make them look good :)
How do you like that power supply? I just ordered one while it was on sale, but I've since read some reviews of coil whine. Nice setup btw
Power supply is excellent to say the least. I did experience the coil whine, but it went away after a few weeks and was never really that loud.
Could you give me the link to that awesome wallpaper you got there?
What do you use for uv case lighting and LED lights for the desk? That's a mighty clean setup you got!
Actually there are no UV lights. The case lights are the NZXT Hue, and the led strip lights under the desk are just a $22 kit i purchased from amazon.
Oh cool, didn't know that. Got a link? There are several mentioned here. Thoughts on brightness, reliability, and setup?
The LED kit: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BJHGUCU/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The case LED kit: http://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Technologies-5-25-Inch-Controller-8c-hue0000-00b/dp/B008RWT2IY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1389926177&sr=8-2&keywords=nzxt+hue?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&tag=coolcompsetu-20 Brightness is excellent, i usually keep it at half brightness. As for the reliability, i have only had the desk lights for about a week, so only time will tell. But I did have to exchange an NZXT Hue kit because half the LED strip was a different color than what it was supposed to be. But i returned it to Amazon and got an new one without a problem.
Awesome setup, how does the graphics card handle the 3 screens in games and whatnot? Also, how are the monitors i've been looking at some acer 23" models and wanted to compare if you don't mind. THanks!
Gaming across three screens is pretty solid with my card(670 FTW). It cant run BF4 at ultra(obviously), but it can run BF3 at high with some setting turned to medium. The thing is that i usually do not game across 3 monitors anyway. I do occasionally, but id rather have my music on one along with steam/facebook/anything else on the other. As for the monitors, I really can't speak for Acer and I have never owned one. The real big feature on this monitor is the bezels, but every other aspect is rock solid as well.
Awesome what i wanted to hear. I've got a 770 ftw so i'm assuming itll be able to handle it just as easily. Thanks for the feedback
Damn nice!! I would work on getting longer cables for the sub/pc to hide them more off to the side. It feels so nice to kick your feet around without having to hit ANYTHING.
Goddamnit this is so beautiful!
THIS is how you do cable management.
Nice, except for that steelseries logo and them speakers. Doing it right.
I may or may not have orgasmed at the first pic
Its a bit spooky and mysterious don't you think?
What did you use for cable management under the desk?
What kind of frame rates do you get ?
Very clean and inspiring. Nice work!
Wow, i have been browsing here for awhile and yours has really stuck out to me. I would like to let you know that because I know little about computers or interior design, I plan to plagiarize from you completely.
I have that case! What do you think of it
I am in love with everything about this....except. I'd like to make a suggestion. White wire molding going up instead of black. It would match the baseboard and give it a more suitable blend to the appearance.
Neat. Great cable management. How it's supposed to be.
It's so clean.......nice job OP.
Dayum that looks clean :)
Thanks! Took a ton of cable ties and sticky cable mounts.
Very clean, great cable management!
Clean as fuck. Well done.
Soo clean! great work man :D
Good cable management makes such a difference to a clean setup, nice work!
You're a god at cable management.
Your under desk cabling is just crazy amazing. Are you for hire?
