Compared to windows, but generally speaking for projects like these people have their preferred distros of linux, and G++/GCC/GDB is difficult (to me) to customize and get the versions/updates, even with macports/brew.
Technically, it's the only operating system mentioned above that can really be called UNIX.

Yea Razor has its fanboys and is very popular, but they aren't shit, and who's next to victimize for being of poor quality? Asus or Corsair because they're "too popular with gamers"? Since when did popularity become a standard for quality, Razer products aren't much more expensive than they other branded competition, for a basic mech keyboard you expect to pay $75-$100 with Razor or Corsair or CM Storm or any of them. Same with nice and headsets, they are priced very similarly to their counterpart companies that produce similar products.
Exactly. Some of their more experimental products are quite expensive, but they're main-stream products follow right in line with their competitors.
Not much knowledge on the pricing of razer, but i know that when i did research on an MMO mouse (I'm a button whore) it was either the logtitech G600 or Razer Naga 2014. I went Razer because it had better reviews and was cheaper (at least where i got it) and i love it, plus Razer Synapse is brilliant.

Depends on their products, some of their stuff is pretty bad. Though they have a couple of solid mice/keyboards. Overpriced even then though.
Not saying Razor's bad, its deathadder is one of the best mice on the market. Its stuff is just overpriced.

It does. But this is coolcomputersetups. And for some reason, I have found most of the people who talk about computers on coolcomputersetups, have ridiculous complaints about Razer. Whether or not they're true.
My Lenovo Y410P is very close in specs to the Razer Blade. Only thing the Blade is much better at is build quality (case + slimness) and battery life (3-5 hours vs 9 hours).

I agree, for the average user, they are okay headphones, but they need to be priced about half of what they are currently for that.
Maybe because they are somewhat of a fashion item? By which I mean that most of the people that buy them, do so because they value the aesthetics (and the brand) more than the sound quality.
Beats owner. I can confirm that I mainly bought them for the fashion back in my freshman year of college days. I regret not putting more money into a good set of Bose headphones, especially after hearing them.

Beat Studio are really nice sounding and well made headphones. I don't think I have ever hear a pair of skull candy that didn't make me rip the headphones off my face in disgust.

Please do a comparison with a half decent headphone yourself. You will be surprised. Most people that say that the Beats sound okay have never heard anything else than the shitty earbuds that were included with their mobile phone.
Not an audiophile by any measure, but I do also have a pair of Skull Candy Aviators, which I actually prefer. I use the Beats at work and the other pair at home. Not saying they're the best, or even great. They're "ok".
VModa LP Crossfades are extremely high quality for their $100 price point. Full over ear headphones, metal construction, included case. As for the sound, they isolate very well even thought they are passive, they are vented so they do not sound compressed, they have great volume and overall coverage for highs, lows and mids. Without equalizers they sound great, and they can be pushed eveb farther if you want. Braided Kevlar, yes kevlar, not nylon, cable. Two of them to be exact. Great warranty, and durability guarantees. I personally own a pair, best headphones I've owned. Not to say the world's best, as I've never owned an enthusiast level pair of cans.
