Gaming setup Rule #472: Your gaming setup is always a WIP.
Well..... I guess I could get a 4770k at some point....
"It'll be done once I get that monitor stand"
Thats what I was going to say, its sad when you stop working on your setup, the process is the fun part!
It to me longer than I care to admit to figure out what wip meant nice setup though how long did it take to assemble ?
Well, if you mean the total time for it all to be as I wanted it: about 2 years. If you mean the rig: it was a pre-built at first (I know it's terrible but I was a PC novice at the time I got it) and since then, I have basically overhauled it.
I'm still trying to figure it out... what is it?
Could not agree more on the bit about the chair. Same goes for your shoes and mattress because you're either on your feet, on your ass, or on your back. Don't skimp on any of those areas.
Thanks man! It took a while but certainly worth it.
Loving your setup! And I know it's not part of the gaming setup, but I especially like your framed posters.
You like your Corsair h110?
It's actually a H55. It's great though. No where near as loud as the stock fan.
Aah, i C. Nice build!
What temps are you looking at with the H55? I've got an H50 in my rig because it was what i could afford at the time, and while it does the job I'm not that impressed with the cooling.
Mine averages about 35-40 on an i7-3770
Where did u get that desktop background from?
Nice setup. Link to chair?
I'm afraid I don't know what exact model it is. Just head down to an office store and if you ask for estate chairs, you will find chairs like this.
Just got a RAT 7 like 2 weeks ago. I am really liking it.
I've had my RAT 7 almost 4 years and it's a great mouse but I've heard mixed reviews on the latest models of them.
Sorry about the screen tearing on your displayport monitor.
I really love this setup. I wish the RAT 7 had a leftie option.
You're lucky with your mouse if you can still use it after two years. My RAT 5 isn't a year old yet, I don't think, and not only is the forward thumb button sometimes non-responsive, the optical sensor is a POS. I get incredibly jaggy and choppy movements now, even after cleaning the sensor with isopropyl alcohol. It's hit and miss with these mice.
I know your next steps
Where did you get those sweet threaded power supply cables?
This is the wrong RAM. He uses 1333mhz.
