It's a emperor chair they run upwards of 20k for them. Not really worth it.

You could probably fly to China and find like 20 guys on the street and have it shipped back home for less than half of that.

What would be the disadvantages of this? Cleaner cable management and space saving. Not to mention easy to setup, no need for additional monitor mounts, desk, etc.

Yea but that's the argument of why would someone want a monitor mount instead of just making your own. You pay a premium for convenience.

I think it might save some space for not having a desk. and it looks really comfortable.
