Can you give a quick review about the macbook dock? There are mixed reviews on amazon. Would you recommend it to a uni student who takes his mac everywhere and would like to dock it there at the end of the day to do work?

I absolutely love it. No complaints whatsoever. Their customer service is great too. I bought a part that ended up not fitting the generation i had so they sent me the newest generation dock for free. I also got it while at school and took my macbook everywhere. My only suggestion would be to buy a second charger so you have one to take with you

What kind of material is the tekmat made out of on top? It is soft or is it a plastic?

Its soft just like a mousepad

WHy are you using 2 different sets of speakers?

The JBL's have a sub so I just hooked them together

I have a pair of those monitors and really like them. Nice setup.

I love this monitor. When I build my PC ill be getting another for sure
