Nice to see that your computer isn't in your bedroom but you've still got some pretty serious gear for a high schooler. Looks good (albeit crowded) but there is generally negative outlook on people who add "high school" to their title.
Yeah, I'm quite proud of it. I paid for probably 50% of all of it, and I also got a lot of old stuff for free, like my chair and second monitor and the desk, and the blu-ray player and the surround sound.
Hey cool, how much is your rent and car insurance and food costs per month.
No one cares about your age on the internet.
People don't seem to mind "My dorm gaming setup" or variations of that.
I'm 47. I repeated the 10th grade 32 times.
WOW specs on the printer?
Not a printer person. It's fast, it's laser, and it was a pain to get working with CUPS.
That's the sound my printer makes when it prints so fast.
Man, Blue has done a pretty good job cornering the "Streamer" market (e.g. people who need a not-garbage microphone but aren't likely to buy a proper audio interface).
It's pretty great for the money. Only problem is it's super heavy and hard to get a stand for it. I had a super ghetto shock mount for a while made of K'Nex and rubber bands, but it was uncomfortably unstable.
Its better than webcam mics and built-in mics on laptops for sure, but USB converters leave a lot to be desired.
It's as good as you're going to get without dumping a lot of money into dedicated audio equipment.
Hence my first post :) We see them everywhere because they do such a good job given their price point.
Hey do you know where you got that TV stand? I'm looking for one like that with drawers like that. Thanks for sharing with us!
Got it from the furniture store.
Well I would assume that part. Any more specifics on model or what furniture store? Thank you.
Furniture went out of business, not sure about the model.
Nice Sager. I own a NP8150. Pretty good machine.
I have that same chair. Cherish it before it starts shredding and you have black pieces of the "leather" all over the floor every day.
Yeah, I want to see if I can get an Aeron or Steelcase for real cheap on Craigslist sometime.
I'm looking to get a blue yeti mic as well. What do you use for and is it as great as I have heard? In your opinion is it worth getting?
