Where did you get that desk? Looking for something similar at the moment

The legs are from ikea and the top is from a construction market

What was the process like? Was it time-consuming? Do you think it was worth it in the end?

OSX is pretty cool, It's basically a Linux but able to run things like photoshop etc.

Very nice. I also run Hackintosh. You should get second screen :)
