Racetec Office Chair - Computer Setup

Comments

Indeed it is, and comfy aswell! The DXRacer is the best 260 euro I've ever spent.
;( I'll stick to my chair I got for free..it will have to do
I used to be fine with whatever chair I had, but once I got the DXRacer, there was and never will be no going back. It is literally the comfiest, sturdiest and overall best office chair I've ever tried. The feature I like the most in this chair is that you can tilt the back and lock it in place. Really good for watching movies. If you didn't notice it yet, I'm trying to get you to buy one. And no I don't work for them. :P
My chair used to have that feature, and it was amazing. I almost cried when it broke.
It is literally the best thing about an office chair. Reclining with the entire chair just feels awkward, since you cannot stay in one position without having to balance etc. Even though it probably doesn't look like it judging by the pictures, I'm actually a poor student. I just spend literally every extra penny on my lovely money sink. :p
I agree..Just bought a new truck, so my gaming setup must remain as it is for some time
Question: do all the DXRacer chairs have that feature?
Yup, they do. The difference between the models are mostly cosmetic.
Give me 260 euro's and ill buy the chair.(i want a new chair as my current one is old and starting to get stiff :( )
I wanna get the D series, but they are outta stock here in the us :-(
Aww that's too bad. Just wait for restock! :)
Go to amazon or need for seat
Came to say the same, my chair is currently looking at the corner of the room and cowering.
I have to tighten the screws on the back of mine every few days because the back starts to wobble. Poor thing is nearing its last days.
Save up for a DXRacer, you won't regret it. The chairs I used to have started to wobble within a matter of weeks. This one is still good as new after 5 months or so.
But I must. It is the best purchase you can ever make, I can promise you that.
I'm getting along fine with my RaceTec Tommy, but I might consider a DXRacer for long term sits. I'm looking at you, Civ V.
George Kollias from Nile, got it signed at a Meet & Greet with him. Above that is Tomas Haake from Meshuggah, and above that is Kai Hahto from Wintersun. I have a thing for getting coated Remo Ambassadors signed for some reason.
Is that the Logitech G13
Can i have your headphones?
Do you use your monitors for 3d Gaming? I've got the BenQ XL2420TX. Maybe you know the answer to this but do you only need one monitor with the 3D vision sensor to get 3D to work on all of the monitors. So if I bought the XL2420T for a multi monitor setup like yours where the sensor isn't built in to the XL2420T would the 3D functionality work on all of the monitors if I just used the XL2420TX as my center monitor?
I do not actually. I have been thinking about getting the 3D glasses and sensor, though. Afaik, you can have 3x XL2420T and just get the 3D kit, since the monitors are 3D capable. So it should work with 2x XL2420T and a XL2420TX. :-)
Awesome, thanks for the reply.
It's only a money sink if you don't get to see where your money is going!
Which he probably doesn't since he's not gaming in 3D and there's no way he's getting more than 60 fps on all three screens at all times.
Depends on the game. At the moment I have a single GTX 780 which has given me 60+fps while playing on three monitors. It really depends on the game though. It's quite obvious that one does not simply play for example, Metro: Last Light on triple screen setup with a decent fps on a regular rig.
Do keypads really help in games? I've never owned one and keep seeing them pop up.
I really just use it in MMOs, and I've found it useful in Just Cause 2. For most games I use an Xbox controller. For RTS games I use just the basic keyboard + mouse combo. Edit: The help from G13 that I get is that on a keyboard I feel very limited to the left from WASD, and there is no such thing with a keypad. You can get tons and tons of bindings on just a small area on a keypad.
It looks really nice and I wonder if it can help me stop mispressing some keys. Seems very ergonomic and functional!
It does require some getting used to, but when you do it really is awesome!
What keypad is that?
Oh I thought that was referring to your headphones. Thank you
Bases for the monitors you mean? :P
Oh, I suppose. They just seemed so out of place - what brand/model monitors then? :P
Holy shit 3 120hz Benq monitors? Surround gaming must be glorious for you
Holy fuck, three BenQ monitors. This really is a "money sink."
