Something tells me you aren't close to starving.
Graphics cards are edible right?
No but sellable :>
Aww yeah 30 inch club. U3011 here. I want some 2007fps but i don't think my desk is big enough :(
Will put some measurements up of the space they take when angled in. also love me some 30"glory went 15"(horrific)----20"tv----22" tn 1080p---24"1200p----27"1440p---30"1600p not to mention the secondaries i had think ive been through 11 monitors incl current
That would help! I also can't seem to find 2007fp's at a decent price. Funny how that is..spend $1k on a monitor but won't spend $200 on secondary displays. Do you know if they have display port? My GPU has a DVI port and 3 mini display ports and that's it..haha.
Picked up my 2007FPb's from ebay for $80/each could have gone cheaper, but i didn't want to risk a damaged display. well worth picking up.
Whats so great about 2007fp's there are cheaper monitors by dell that are practically the same thing at first glance.
DVI-D only, i got them off ebay for 75GBP each make sure the serial ends in "L", that means they are IPS
3008/2007 club here. Dude I think you went a bit heavy at £75 - I picked up 2 (L) for £35 for the pair on ebay.
Ah these were mint condition and from a big seller. but yeah i did overpay a bit, but i could not find anything cheaper and in good nick.
Yeah I think I probably did - they do seem to go in the £50-75 range a lot of the time. I think it must only be 30" owners buying them up these days.
Good luck on your job search :) nice rig!
Thanks, waiting on an apprenticeship scheme to let me know if im short listed -fingers crossed-
Same here, so I know how you feel.
What kind of keyboard is that?
Split one is: IBM m15 + white alps numberpad regular one is: filco mx red + cherry pbt.
Thats a NIB one with accessories. worth a lot more, its also been sitting there for a while not selling. average price recently has been nearer 700-1000USD
FYI, per your infographic; SCSI drives are very old (not to mention Gen 5 HP's don't accept them). Surely you mean SAS/SATA now.
There is a good chance i mixed it up, will check. got em off a mate and he said SCSI, will open em up and look
Either way, best of luck on the job search. You should be able to sell those HP's for a decent price as well.
Hello job centre. RougeCognito is selling something. Great so you will be stopping that bastards benefits. Jolly good, for how long? 6 months.. Eeeeeeeexcellent.
Pretty much, luckily i have sympathetic parents who are letting me live with them free until i find work, hopefully i can repay em one day
Pro Tip. Don't show them the awesome gaming setup. And definitely don't show them the receipts!
Hahaha...how much did that keyboard cost anon... oh err not much its old you know.
Did i not? will change that, 7970 gigabyte and yeah i do <3 my prodigy, if i keep it i may do some case mods
Care to share what case mods there are for it?
You can put a window in, there is a way to get dual gpu with a hard to find motherboard, you can make it so that a triple slot card fits (i think), may do a mirrors edge style theme on it.
I'm still rocking my Antec 900. Don't think I'll be giving it up for a long time.
Just downsized to the same case on friday. I love it!
Yeah, nice case, well made....but i am thinking of a change.
The top three monitors could be 1650 x 1050 monitors; 1650 * 3 = 4950, which is the closest you'll find to the width of that PLP resolution (4960)
Try a Dell UltraSharp U2913WM 29-inch Ultra Wide Monitor flanked by two 19" 1280x1024px monitors.
Will do a mock up with 20" 1680x1050s, i may use them as a separate desktop environment or even use a switch to swap between machines, so resolution matching up isnt to much of an issue.
FOr a second I thought wow how did you mount that 360mm rad like th- holy balls thats the 7970 -__-
Keep up! once i find work im going up to crossfire and a full tower again, or a titan/7990/690 or equiv and stay mini ITX 4960x1600 is going to murder my 7970 in games.
Interesting, I have no idea where the money went either..
I have the same monitor setup and am wondering where you get your wallpapers from as it is near impossible to find any that fit right. :\
I find it hard too, display fusion is useful as it allows mixed wallpapers
Just do an advanced search on Google Images for "landscape" * and specify larger than 8MP or however high you have to go to find images that are wide enough. There are lots of beautiful images out there. Also a nice thing about a landscape image is that you don't have to compensate for the bezels usually as the mostly horizontal lines span the gap easily without looking weird.
Upvote for still using IRC
Lol. Same guy who was an asshole before, credit.
I have that same exact case. Best.Case.Ever.
How would you run 6 displays on 1 gpu?
MST Hub, gotta wait for it to come out DP daisy chaining + custom res'
Selling 1 monitor might help you get some food bro...
How does your Akasa XXL mousemat compare to your old Razer one? I have the razer but am considering an upgrade. It's lacking in width in my opinion.
Prefer my Akasa, bigger by a fair bit and i wasn't keen on the obtrusive razer branding.
Nice repost. Too many down votes from the last time?
I've seen these pictures at least 3 times.
Trolling, not in album, actually being nice.
Hahah this guy is a prick
That M15 would sell for enough on eBay to eat for months.
Got it cheap :) but yeah if i did it up and finished modding it would
Had a job, no longer have a job. student looking for work atm, but thanks for assuming.
95% of programming related guys get a job within three months of finishing university, at least in Scandinavia.
Not gone to uni, plan is to do 3 years work in industry and then go, means i get my fees paid for and can save some money.
What is this... a keyboard for ants?
