What Is The Ups Of B000G66N2M - Computer Setup

Comments

Baller breakfast. I like the banana/headphones stand, too. I might end up getting a couple for my headsets. Headphones stands are so expensive for some reason.
I just ordered this. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000G66N2M/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Amazon prime, and $10. I'm pretty sure it's the same one in the pciture. Also ordered a DAC, audio foam, power conditioner, dual VESA monitor mounts, and an unreasonable amount of optical audio equipment with velcro ties. It will be a good week.
Right on dude. What headphones/DAC did you end up getting?
Audioengine D1. I'm no audio professional, I don't record, although I've attempted to produce a couple times. I just like clean good sounding speakers. Just replaced my old Alesis monitor one MK1's with some Tannoy 501a's and wanted to invest in a DAC. Which ended up costing almost as much as the speakers set me back.
Those look sick. Do you use a subwoofer with monitors like that? I'm a big headphone guy, so my speakers are pretty meh and I don't know much about higher-end monitors.
Yea I'm enjoying them. Good headphones are always nice though. What do you use? Well since you have to ask about the sub, I feel compelled to share my struggle.
They're only expensive if they're listed as a headphone stand. :P
I have the same mouse. Great buy no doubt.
Really? I had a G9, and it broke after a few months. The point where the wire meets the casing got shredded (like an iPhone charger), and it would lose connection if I ever lifted it up, or moved it at too far of an angle. And, judging by some info I found online, this is a common issue.
This is my second G9x. First one had an issue where the left mouse button would click twice, which started after a year and a half or so. There's a three year warranty though which is pretty good for a mouse.
I have no problem with mine. I have mine for 4 months now works fine, except for the coarse body isn't smooth enough.
What do those knobs on your test rig do?
Sorry I didn't clarify, the rig in front with the keyboard on top and the NZXT case is my test rig. The knobs on my main rig are for controlling the fans.
No worries, that's pretty cool
Nice breakfast, and nice degree's and a Comp TIA cert on the wall ( I believe)
Aw man that is fully sick. Please tell me those grapes are seedless.
Totally digging the headphones most of all, tbh.
Nice keyboard :) Topre rules
Is that leopold torpe? is it nice?
Leopold and G9x, excellent taste. Finally got my hands on a FC700R and I'm in love with it. And the G9x is definitely the best mouse ever created.
Bagel looks yummy :) What have you got in there?
This is just my personal opinion, but that's one of the ugliest and most expensive cases I've ever seen. Did you really spend $600 on that?
Several reasons. It's a server case with hot swap redundant power supplies (So if one dies, the other one picks up immediately), the case fans are also hot swap, and there's eight hot swap 3.5" HDD bays. That combined with my UPS, Perc 6i Raid 6 Array and Blu-Ray backups gives me a highly reliable setup in terms of keeping data in-tact. It hangs out of view to the side of my desk so it doesn't really matter how it looks. Also someone bought it by mistake and put it on Ebay for $350 so I got a pretty good deal.
So what do you use this computer for?
Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to find other means of storage?
Absolutely, but it would have less reliability (my primary concern) and less performance. (you're limited to a gigabit over the network)
Thanks for answering my questions.
