What's wrong with the speakers?
The ones on (I'm assuming) the far left and right are the surround speakers, which should go behind the listener - not in front as they are here. People seem to put them at the front fairly often, for whatever reason...OP might just not have the space or ability to run wires to the back I guess?
Well the 5.1 is kinda cool, but i don't really make full use of it. I could have probably got a better sounding 2.1 for around the same price. But I am content with them for the time being.
I did this last night. I would recommend using reinforced shelving brackets like I have. Also, did you make sure you screwed into studs?
It is a lot more desk space than I did have! I dont really have the room for a large desk atm, so i am happy with it.

I keep on seeing people using a second smaller screen rotated vertically and it's getting to the point where I may have to get one too! Looks like it would be very handy for keeping information open while gaming/reading emails etc
Ignore the naysayers, this is a pretty sweet station. I've always wanted to do something like this. Unfortunately, my cable management skills would never rival the clean look you have under your desk.
Thank you! And it wasn't difficult, a few Velcro straps and a attached all the cables under the desk, they look like a rats nest, but they are out of site.
Supports look kinda weak. I guess those walls are drywall/you are from the USA? Might want to be careful with leaning on it too much...

What wall mount did you use? I haven't decided on a final wall-mount yet.
Get some sweet headphones and you're golden. The mini side monitor looks really awesome for some reason.

Where is the power outlet and the surge protector? Did you have to move the outlet from a different spot? Is the strip mounted to the underside?
Whats the dimensions of the smaller monitor and where did you get it from? really like this idea :-)
Oh my god, that looks like a terrible spot to listen to anything in. Can you tell me exactly how wide that space is?
