Ah, the majestic Filco Ninja Majestouch-2 in its element.
Love it!! Just a quick question for you. I am between a few different headsets. One of them being the g930's. How do you like them? How is the audio quality? Does the wireless work well and from a distance? Would you recommend something different?
I have been very happy with mine. I think they are very comfortable. The only times they feel uncomfortable is when I am wearing them for over 4 hours straight. I am no audiophile-- but to me, they sound great. The Surround sound is surprisingly effective. In my apt, the wireless range is about 40-50 ft (about 4 walls in between). I can't recommend anything else, really-- I haven't tried that many gaming headsets. These were the ones that a friend of mine used, I saw them on sale and purchased them.
Contact support. They'll get you one that works
I think you might've been unlucky with your pair. I've had two (headset band broke on the left speaker, but I got a replacement from Logitech), and both have been working great, the range is great, works fine two rooms away.
Might be you have a bad unit, I have a pair of g930's easily two years old now and they hold up like a champ when compared to my friends razers headsets and that WoW headset from creative.
I have a pair, they are awesome. The range is great for what I need. I can go downstairs and be on opposite ends of the house and they still work, also works well when binding one of the G keys to push to speak for ventrilo or something similar so can still talk to people while I'm grabbing a drink or something. Battery seems to last long enough but it isn't a hassle to have them plugged in when I'm at the computer as the cord is really long. The reason i got wireless was to be able to watch movies from my bed on the other side of the room and for this, they are really comfortable, sound quality is great too. Well worth if you are going to make use of the wireless funcitonality...otherwise just get a wired pair.
Not sure why this person is being downvoted! A cheap ad700 already has similar or better positional audio along with better audio quality and reliability!
Open gaming cans ftw. add in a labtec mic or antlion and you're cheaply on your way there! :)
Seriously, especially if he is worried about audio quality.
Also consider the Razer Megalodon, I haven't tried the g930's but the Megalodon is exceptional. Although you can't get the Megalodon in a wireless edition afaik.
Are you playing defcon?
Mionix Naos mouse? I got one a few weeks ago along with a Mionix Ensis 320, best mouse I've used and so freaking comfortable (though if you have huge hands I'd recommend the FUNC MS-3, which is quite similar). Love the Filco ninja keyboard too, I really want a 10 keyless, but they are just so expensive and I don't have a good reason to replace my blackwidow.
The mouse is amazing. It convinced me that a pricey but well made keyboard would be worth it-- IT WAS. Night and day for both the mouse and the keyboard.
How do you like the keyboard? Thinking of getting it.
I went to art school too. It really is a shame that I can enjoy my self.
Not to be creepy but nice GF
Awkward moment when she's his Sister
Love your Lenin bust, where did you buy that?
I am also interested in your Lenin bust - where can I get one?
Really want that Lenin bust as well...
Well I asked first... its mine!
Why not share, is that not the LENIN thing to do?
TSi 100's? if so what are you using to put sound to them?
I have the TSI200 if you are interested in some sort of an impression
I was actually deciding between TSI100 or 200. Did you pair yours with a sub? What you think of the 200's? Is it too overkill for a computer setup?
I have a full home theater setup for my computer. TSI200 for front left/right (will downgrade them to my rears when space allows), pioneer FS52 rears (will be moved to fronts when space allows), pioneer C22 center, Dayton titanic MkIII subwoofer.
Thanks for the detailed overview. Good read. I will most likely reconsider my options. Not sure if these will be right for my type of music. (Rock, pop, electronic,...)
Dont get me wrong, they sound fantastic, but you need to work with them a lot. They are great for mids and highs but not bass. This is the case with any subwoofer. But if you take the audioengine A5's, for example, they'll also get down to about 60-70 hz while remaining pretty flat in response (equal volume no matter what frequency tone you play) but even though its bass response isnt so great, it will keep that bass very punchy and crisp. You dont lose any bass detail, whereas the bass from the polks comes out kind of fuzzed up.
Nice setup. Where'd you get the sun glasses? Haha
Those speakers would sound better a bit higher. Great setup otherwise.
Disappointed to see your 'boot' pic missing from this album...
"I'll tickle your belly button"
So this is what sex looks like.
Doesn't Lenin get all vibrated with bass frequencies?
What game/wallpaper on the upper screen?
Good luck getting a computer like that in a communist country.
