You rest your forearm/foreskin in it. It gives you a better range of motion/pleasure.
Probably to rest his elbow on or something. Looks neat.
Sorry was out today. The thing is to hold my arm while playing fps games. I don't like my arm dangling off the table or digging into the edge of the table. The holder rotates to the left for my left arm
I came to make this joke, I failed to do so before you.
So... He came first?
Imagining someone just casually sitting down and laying their dick down is too much for me.
What is that arm attached to the desk for?
It's for fat people with no muscles who can't hold their own arms up.
I'm 5'7" 150lbs and I go to the gym 3 times a week, and play tennis on the weekend.
I'm a "professional gamer" I like to have my arm parallel to the table. The arm support holds my arm from dangling off the table and keeps it from digging into the edge of the table.
Is that Polk Audio speakers?
They look like the ts200i to me, but I'm more knowledgable about headphones.
The TSi200 are MTM. The one he has are monitor 40 or monitor 45.
Yeah, what he said.
Says the guy who smokes a 1/4 a day. To the rest of the world it sounds " pretty good" which is ok by normal standards.
If you pay 30 bucks for speakers and they dont break within 6 months, thats "pretty good". If you pay 200-300 for speakers, you expect a little more return on investment than that. For a 300 dollar MSRP, these speakers fail to produce an equal or better sound than other similarly priced alternatives (Audioengine A5's blow them completely out of the water, audioengine A2's will perform similarly well but not as loudly.)
I struck a nerve.. ? the funny part is i agree but was simply giving you a hard time. Expensive /= Good.
No nerve struck, but some people are woefully misinformed about audio.
And what is a 1/4? I dont smoke.
I'd like to know what model they are too.
The speakers are Polk 45B reference monitors.
The speakers are Polk 45B reference monitors.
I'm a guy that prefers resting the elbow of his mouse hand on a table or something, so I would think that that's some sort of elbow holder...
You do realize they make chairs with arms now, yes?
Yea but your arm rests dont extend out over the desk or as high as you may need it. My chair is low enough that I can pull my chair under the desk and that would require your forearm to be at a weird angle.
I just make my chair level so that the arms are at an even height with my keyboard and mouse. Done using computer... lower chair and tuck under. I assumed this was the way of the world.
Adjusting your chair more than once every few months is way too much work
To each his own man. I just like a deep desk and I have my mouse a good 8 inches from the end of my desk so my elbow always rests on the desk and wouldn't reach if it was on the chair
I'd adjust my chair but that raises my eye level which would require me to raise the monitor.
I like to keep my arm parallel with the table. The arm support holds my arm so my elbow isn't dangling off or digging into the edge of the table.
Yeah I like to keep my arm completely still and secured when I'm playing fps games.
Dave you're a good engie
Nice! How do you like the monitor? Also whats going on, on the screen?
Foobar2k visualization, it looks like.
Neato! I'll look into that. Thanks!
Quite welcome :) I love foobar2k, i can't imagine using a different audio player.
I'm an iTunes man myself but I'm always open to new options.
Downvoted for an unpopular opinion. Welcome to Coolcomputersetups, everyone.
Yup I figured I would be but surprisingly the amount of fucks I give about credit is still 0. I actually downloaded foobar2k and it was alright...there isn't really anything that it has that I am just like "oh my ger I gotta switch to this". It's nice and if I didn't have my entire music library on my iMac and actually had music on my PC then I would probably consider using fb2k all the time.
The biggest pro's for me are its stability, functionality and its responsiveness. It's a very basic music player if you want it to be, but it's endlessly customisable if you want to. If you're already used to and fine with your current music player i agree there is no reason to switch, but if you're looking for something minimalistic that works, can't go wrong with Foobar2k.
The visualization comes with foobar by default
I love the 120Hz on the monitor but the build quality is shady..
Whats the monitor? If you don't mind me asking.
This is the one I have
Is Dave+ still playing engie on syndicate?
Nah, I'm kind of retired, kind of taking a break this season.
Classy. Love your engie gameplay, I've learned a lot (even though I main solly).
May I ask what desk that is? It looks perfect for what I need and I can't find a good one anywhere. 3 monitors and a Corsair 800D...In hindsight, maybe I shouldn't have went so big.
Sounds like you need an Ikea Galant with a side extension. I'll show you mine tomorrow if you're interested.
Ok, I'll get back to you in about 9 hours.
Sick man. Are you making a new post?
Yeah, it's an ikea table.
FOOBAR!! Thank god someone else out there has some sense and the balls to denounce iTunes. Upvote from me.
Love foobar. Simplistic yet supremely customizable.
Today, OP did not deliver
Sorry I was hanging out with my friends this weekend. I'll be happy to answer any more questions
How the hell do you type like that? Keyboard is waaay too far to the left. Also, I dig those lamps :)
Where did you get that desk? ive been wanting one like it
Ikea. At their table section you can choose the table size and customize it with legs and such.
Holy shit i have those same ikea lamps and just realized that the shade moves up. GEEZ ive had this lamp for like 6 months already lmao.
As a couple people have asked, I too would like to know what desk that is.
How do you like the speakers and what AKG model headphones are those, and how are they?
The Speakers are Polk 45b. I got them for sale on newegg, the headphones are AKG k601 and I like them alot. The bass is low but everything else is crisp and clear.
Can you share your pc specs and headphone ?
Yeah My pc specs are:
Can I ask what mouse pad is that? It seems like a lot of people use that same oversized one with their computer setups.
