Computer Setup

Looks nice. Not a big fan of the fish-eye pictures, but who am I to complain?
Yeah, the fisheye isn't for everyone. It was just the only way I could think of to give you all the full apartment without Photoshopping a panorama together.
The white board on the desk is so neat! I have no Idea what I would use it for. XD
I'm an audio student, so I'm going to use it when I'm doing audio projects. Write down the sound effects I need, then wipe them off when I'm done with them.
Ah nice. I also do audio work and music production as a hobby and hopefully a career someday. Do you have any stuff you have worked on available for the public? Id love to check it out.
As of right now, I've done mostly projects for class, and they're all just sitting on my hard drives. It's on my to-do list for the summer to make a Soundcloud account, or even a whole website. That'd be sweet. I'll try to remember to come back to here to post the link for you. I tend to forget some things....so nothing personal if I don't deliver.
Back that shit up before you lose it! Cloud storage is the way to go.
Good way to improve your space, but is it comfortable to get in the bed?
It takes a little bit of work to get up there, and it's a bit cozy, but all I do is sleep up there, and I won't ever have company in my bed, so it's fine.
Awww i was going to say it looks a bit tight for company up there. sorry you won't be having any though :C
It's my choice, no need to feel sorry. I'm holding out.
You always have the couch
I don't know why people downvoted you for that.
Serious question.. Did you put your bed that high to help with that? Making it harder to have company?
That would actually be smart. Although he could just use the couch.
Right but I know some people want their first time in a bed or a certain location. So it seemed like that could be what he was doing.
Man, I'd be so nervous putting my bunk on top of that much in monitors and audio.
It's a really sturdy bunk. Like, really sturdy. It's not coming apart any time soon.
You might want to put some kind of frame around the monitors anyways just to be sure.
How are you supposed to fuck in that bed?
It's so great, especially for audio editing. Makes it so much easier to drag the audio where it needs to go.
It's great for everything. Except kreedzing.
That's a pretty sexy kangaroo, lying there all seductive on the beach.
I actually saw that originally on Coolcomputersetups. Something about Australia.
Gonna assume that op doesn't have a lot of overnight guests. Looks a little cramped in the bed area.
Thanks! It took a lot of hard work.
Where can someone get the desk you're using here? If its custom any tips on making the top a whiteboard?
It's actually all custom built. The whiteboard part you can probably get from your hardware store. It's about 1/8 inch thick, sitting on top of another wooden board that gives it strength and stability. It actually goes all the way into the corner; the other part of the desk is sitting on top of it. It's really sturdy with an inch-thick board under the whiteboard top, resting on cross-beams between the upright beams.
Alright thanks, in the market for a new desk as currently my tri-monitor setup is run on a extremely oversize corner desk.
Yeah, if you're good with your hands, it's actually pretty fun to build your own desk. Plus it's a lot easier to add more stuff to it, or take stuff off of it if need be. I had to take off the legs to the left-hand side to do this whole thing.
Thanks man, I'll make sure to save as in a few weeks when I have the time I'll be building one.
Can you post pics of the rest of your apartment? I really like it so far but want a bigger picture
Thats legit man, I really like it. Small spaces can be really cozy, keep it up
Thanks, I really love it. It's close to my University campus, and it's really quiet, which is great for doing audio.
I really like the look of this. Makes me want to look for something similar (the small studio room). Currently room renting and it's a lot smaller space. I can't really change much.
I have the same case, you also had trouble with the thing that opens the top?
Rocking the same case here, no trouble with the top panel but the button for the LED's is a little shoddy.
I dont know if it's the pictures, but if that ceiling was any lower, you'd be sleeping in a casket haha.
There's so much more room for activities!
So much room for activities.
I like your desk. And your Bed. Your besk? And the apartment in general.
Don't be in a big hurry to grow out of this space. It looks wonderful.
A couple of my buddies just graduated from OU. Love the campus, almost went there myself.
Oh god I would smash my head on that ceiling every morning. But great setup!
I would sleep with a helmet on.
I absolutely love the small studio setup! After spending years in college it just has a weird comforting feel to it.
Is this an apartment or a dorm room? It look like a dorm room.
Love what you did with the space you have but what happens when you have a girl/guy come over?
If that was my bed, I'd have a sore head every morning. I tend to sit upright when I wake up...bang. Ow.
Ur bed is way to close to ceiling; doesn't that make u uncomfortabl? Just wondering...
Nope. That's a life choice of mine, don't need it, don't do it.
How much faster has your computer gotten with those white LED's?
