You sure you can't OC the 2500k further? I'm getting 4.2Ghz too on a CM Hyper 212+.
I can, just never bothered to push it much further. At 4.2 it stays cool and I can run games smoothly at max settings.
What made you choose the 2500k over a 3570K or 46070K?
When I went with the 2500k, Ivy either wasn't out yet or had just come out and was more expensive, I don't really remember what my reasoning was.
The chair looks awesome, what is it?
It's a Serta big & tall executive chair, and I got it for about $200 at officemax. It's a bit pricey compared to most chairs, but it's pretty nice.
This was my pick as well, went to every office store in town several times. I had to loosen the tension quite a bit so it rocks easily.
Not a huge fan of razer products, but the greenlit blackwidow ultimate + razer naga combo on a galiathus extended always looks amazing.
I don't mean to be a dick, but when I think "clean" I think minimal. What I see is an oversized, bulky keyboard, a giant mouse, big, bubbly speakers, and an enormous, bright plastic case.
Fair point, I understand your view. Going from having my desk being somewhat cramped to now having one monitor, it's cleaner in my eyes.
Haha. In that case I suppose the enormous peripherals are necessary. I feel like gaming setups always look cleaner to me when the desk is pretty big and leaves plenty of space clear.
I agree about the desk. When I got my current desk I had one 23" monitor and small speakers, so there was plenty of space.
Awesome! I'm actually in the market for a new desk myself. Be sure to post pictures when you make the jump!
