Computer Setup

So I was looking on eBay for random PC parts, you know as any PC addict does. And came across a BenQ XL2420T, it was listed as having a dead pixel. So I watched it until it's final day. It was still under £100 so I placed a bid of £180 thinking I wouldn't get it. And well I won it for £150. Which for a monitor that has an issue isn't too bad. But here's the best part, the monitor doesn't have a single dead pixel. It's perfect! So I got a £300 RRP monitor for half price.
How did you get the taskbar to show in the second monitor? I've always been using it without the task bar and it feels a bit bare.
It's default in Windows 8.
When I installed windows 8 it put in on by default, I know there's a program for Windows 7 but I can't remember the name of it.
Good find. I have the same monitor and love it so far.
Question, I got 1 of the XL2420Ts however was thinking of either getting a cinema display or another BenQ XL, since you have had both which combination do you prefer, bare in mind this might sway my final choice :)
The only ereason I changed the Cinema Display was the horrible pink bleeding it has around the edge. But I do miss the 1920x1200 resolution it put out. But having two idectical monitors is amazing. Especially when you can line them up perfect to each other!
Do you have any plans for the Apple Cinema monitor? I am willing to buy it if the price is right.
Sorry! a friend of mine wants it for his setup, He has a mac mini and wants to keep everything Apple Etc.
How do you like your condenser mic? Is that a Snowball? I have been wanting to buy one, but am weary of the quality, I do a lot of gaming and streaming online.
Yes it is the Blue Snowball, the only problem I have with it is the amount of background noise it picks up. And when you're typing it's unbearable when streaming. Apart from that the quality is outstanding. With a pop filter it is the best mic I've used!
