I used to host a bunch in my garage, but I live in Texas, so, you know, it's a bitch with the heat. Hopefully in the winter, I can have some more. But There will always be that one guy with a laptop.
I've had times where it was too cold to sit, even with a blanket/pants/hoodie (winter, in a garage). That one was kinda a bust. I live in North Cali.
Maybe get a few portable heaters for winter LAN parties?
Always wanted to go to one of these. It'll probably never happen though.
:(
They're not hard to organize. I've done 4 or 5 now. All you need is a garage or something comparable, a few tables, and decent internet. Everyone pitches in $10 or $15 and get a load of snacks/food/drinks.
Yea, just get a few friends together at a house and basically you have a LAN, that's essentially how this started, 5 people as I recall. Of course I attended this one in particular haha.
Just get a switch and tell some people you're having a LAN.
God, that look's great xD
Star Trek Voyager - excellent choice. Nice setup, too!
Haha, yes. He wasn't playing anything. He was on a Star Trek marathon.
What's up with all the apple keyboards?
Looks ace, we've done similar ones before at a mates house, with about 6 of us.
That looks awesome. Have fun!
Where is this? Just some room at your University?
It was in a small room at my church. The majority of us attend as well as help out there so they were fine with us using it.
It seems like it would be incredibly hot in that room
We had the A/C on. At one point some people started complaining of it being too cold.
One time at a LAN we didn't leave for two days and we realized it was like 85 in the house, we went too deep.
And the red cable loops around room and leads no where ...
Not enough beer is being consumed.
Probably not a good idea to have a blacklight on near a bunch of gamer's computers
Why? Never heard anything about that...?
I think its a masturbation joke
This is coolcomputersetups after all...
My friends I do the same thing roughly except we call them Nerd Fests xD
