In the last pic... Is that a 4-port Belden IBDN BIX network panel in the wall? Not in use...?

We are the third owners of this house. First owners didn't wire any of these 4-port panels, just requested them by the builder in case they wanted to use them later. I've looked at the cost and it would be absurd to wire it now. I'm wired directly to my modem/router setup now so it's no issue.

So it's basically a panel with nothing behind it :(

Yep, last batch they are ever printing too! Picked it up at PAX and Shawn only had about 4 left. Got the guys to sign it at their booth then randomly ran into Tommy on the show floor and after about a half hour conversation he signed it :P

Is that an extra pad of keys to the left of your keyboard? What do you use them for?

It's the "g" keys on my Corsair K90, only have ever used them for flight simulators but now I find that it is a pointless edition. They aren't mechanical as well, along with the F keys. If you want the full mechanical board they want even more money for it. Tl;dr not buying another corsair keyboard.

Wow I use Siberia's for gaming also, but I'm saving up for a pair of beyerdynamic's, which ones are those? also is your setup an ipod connected to an amp then the headset? looks nice!

DT-880 600ohms. Using the pretty entry-level Fiio setup, amp on the bottom, portable amp acts as a DAC when docked. Use the Beyer's for all my music and then the Siberia's for gaming, just picked them up from the Steelseries booth at PAX. Guy talked them up a lot because they weren't selling any of the heat orange in North America yet so it's kind of cool to have a somewhat exclusive piece.

Yeah they look really nice. I bought some monoprice 8323's to try out an a nicer headphone and they are much better in sound quality than my siberias, but way more uncomfortable. I plan to get some nice audiofile headphones and just keep using the siberias for gaming and at work. They have such a nice mic etc.

If you think the Siberia's are comfortable just wait until you try on the DT880s. Haven't used them in a couple weeks until today and I barely realized that I had them on. Earpads are like pillows and there is barely any weight.

Ah awesome, thanks for the response, what is your favorite one to use in public? maybe one of those other ones have decent isolation?

Yeah, the C5s are good. I don't like wearing overear headphones in public anyways because I have a big enough head as it is.

I know your wall is grey, but do you have a code color for it? I'm pretty certain it's the color I want to go for in my home office.

I've got the empty can somewhere. Ill grab the name or code off of it as soon as I can. That wall is the dark wall and I have the three other walls a lighter grey/tan

Thanks Jakers! How "dark" is the wall? Would you say it's too dark for the entire room to be painted in it?

I used it as a "feature" wall of sorts, even though those are usually the brighter colours. I actually read up on moods of the room and that kind of shit and went ahead and painted the wall I face the darker colour. The light colour is on the same sort of tone as the dark and it flows into it really nicely. So yeah, personally I'd find the darker one too dark to paint the whole room with.
