I'd expect you'll only go above 50% fan speed when using intensive applications.
YOU'RE GOING TO TALK LOUDER, I CAN'T HEAR SO WELL IN THIS WIND TUNNEL
Half fan speed is pretty quiet and keeps everything cool
Lol i'm sure, I've had some fans that push massive air that are very quiet, and others that push decently that sound like a damned jet engine.
Been looking for a fan controller, is that any good? looks a bit "Wobbly"
It's a very good controller. Only looks like it's wobbly because it's a little too small for the case!
Can confirm! I also have this controller.
You really don't need two fans on the heatsink. It can degrade cooling performance.
My CPU temp is 5C better with two. I have dust filters on all intakes
Hah proof or you're lying. That's like the "add 40 fans to get -50c" video.
Damn, resolution is too low.
Reverse search with google images? Maybe you find a high res one!
Awesome, and whats your OS?
Installing the login sounds terrifying.
Do it manually! The autoscript fucked shit up. Just be sure to make a system restore point, a backup of the file you're replacing and follow the instructions carefully!
8.1 update is free right? (I have windows 8 on a laptop currently)
Yeah, they call it an update instead of upgrade
What case is this dude
Fractal Design Define Mini with both HDD racks taken out.
Protip from someone with the same cans: replace your earpads - the cans will sound like brand new.
Thanks for the advice! Now I have something I want for Christmas (along with some glorious sleeved cables)
Air cooling is cool. Some day ill post my super duper air cooled rig... I got a lot of fancy parts.. no one cares anymore cuzz there is new stuff out QQ
Is that a password lock on the first picture ? if so ,how did you get it ?
Ssd in the 5.25 bay?
That is sexy as fuck, so tidy.
KBT Pure? DO WANT.
KBC Poker II PBT actually
Where did you get those lights????
I think they're from IKEA, but I'm not sure.
They are from Ikea I got a set of them as well.
Do you play guitar while liffting wheight? badass
You only yolo once. Gotta keep those arms pumped for typing!
Nice headphones! How are you driving them?
Integrated SupremeFX III chip is more than enough for me!
I love mATX builds. They get cramped, but the end result is a bitching little system.
I love fans. My next ones are going to be Gentle Typhoons and then 240CFM Deltas
Is that a windows 7 lockscreen mod?
Metro login revamped on deviantart
I have the DT 990 (not pro) and they are amazing. Good choice!
Poker II with browns and o-rings, my favorite!
You noctua'd the shit out of that Define mini! Awesome job. Have any use for those large piles of unused fans?
I'm running almost same specs as you, i7-2600k 1155, you are going to notice cooler temperatures if you reroute one of your cpu radiator and fan. I did the same with mine and actually lead it to shut down because of over heating. With the rerouting I peak about 40 celsius on a 100% load. Just something to think about, depending on why you built such a beast. Nice rig!
Reroute? What do you mean? Like, put one fan in the back or what?
Love the Noctuas. Most people seem to hate the colour but I think it looks really good with a black case.
The alternative for me would have been Gentle Typhoons, but I already had two Noctuas, and I have nothing against the colour!
What are those small fans used for? What RAM chips are you using?
The TUF fans? They're from an ASUS Sabertooth motherboard to clean out dust and keep the chips a little cooler. A friend gave them to me for helping him building his PC.
I had to take mine out from my Sabertooth, those 40 mm's were the only noise-makers in my entire case; they even went through the sound-dampening from my Corsair 550D.
You can turn them off in Asus Suite or whatever it's called. Custom profile, set to 0 when temps are low and active when hotter.
