Computer Setup

You know, the great thing about furniture, especially desks, is that you can move them around fairly easily.

Me personally, I would have that desk at a 90 to the wall with the cubbies over those two outlets. Have all the wiring aimed down the middle of the desk, some branching to the left and some to the right and staying in the corner. I would put my surge protector in a lower cubby so that wiring orgy is less visible, as well as any coiling, held on my black electrical tape at least. That light I would, if possible, stick in the higher cube on the side you choose to sit on and aimed up towards the ceiling for a dimmer lighting of your set up.
