If all she needs is a macbook, why are people getting upset over that? I like the Sennheiser HD 558's, I've been thinking of getting a pair for myself.

Yeah they're pretty similar. The stands are slightly different as is the size.

Don't see the tower, but the cables make it look like it's hidden in those drawers or the sub. Maybe it's all a ruse!

They're Ikea something, can't remember the exact one. They're solid wood if that helps.

Very nice! I've got the same exact chair. One of these days, I need to build my girlfriend her own computer. She keeps using mine, haha.

My Wife refuses to to get anything apart from a Macbook. I have some beasty parts to make a more than adequate gaming PC for her but nooooooooooooooo she needs Apple Apple Apple Apple. The vanity of people amazes me.

I don't understand why people would be upset of her only having a macbook. Macbooks are good for everything, surfing the web, photo/video editing, music production, developing and even games with bootcamp. Also it looks alot cleaner.

Oh no, she only had what she needed? How horrible. Why not get her a dual monitor desktop with an operating system she doesn't use? Problem solved!

Yeah i can see why you would think that's what happened. Except she was using my desktop far more than her laptop the last couple of months as well as talking about how she was more productive on my computer.

I have computers running OSX and Chrome OS and used arch linux extensively in the past. I have a remote server running arch and I have Android and iOS devices in my house as well. (Oh I also did some work on Ubuntu for ARM a while back)

I agree. I'm also running 8.1 and it's working out great for me. The small improvements over 8 make it way easier to work with and a breeze to setup a home network with some nice features for backups.
