Nope. The TV and XBox stay. Walk into any advertising agency in the world and you'll find a work/fun environment. I do need a better piece of furniture to put it on though.

I mean I just gave you an opinion that I would have if I walked into the office. I am sure others would feel the same way. Not everyone would feel that way. I understand that, but some would feel differently as if they just walked into a bedroom and not an office.

Yea same. I'm looking at an IKEA galant which is similar.

I was looking at a lot of IKEA desks and the shipping for me is around $80-$300.

This is a gallant in gray. The grey look much better in person than on the Ikea website.

Nice gaming setup, also solid work on starting your own business, seriously congrats. I've been thinking about doing it myself lately and I have learned how difficult it really is. Good luck and this is looking awesome!

Got the monitor (Dell U2713HM) and laptop (Lenovo Y510p) straight from Amazon.

General crits of entire office: The TV is in kind of a weird spot, I would have expected it wall mounted behind your desk. Empty cells in the expedit shelving unit. Stack of... boxes? Clean it up. Is that a photocopier/scanner all the way near the door? Is that a backpack hanging off the door handle? Is that a beanbag chair randomly off to the side? Does your laptop have it's backlight keyboard turned on? If a client has the chair back abit it will be unevenly half on half/off the rug! Ikea artwork doesn't particularly belong on an advertiser/designer's wall... Is that a router randomly on top of the storage unit? Something randomly on the windowsill too? Is that a glass doored fridge? It's a bit strange that you have random stuff strewn everywhere around your desk, couldn't you put it all in one designated area? Maybe sort everything to be under/on the shelf on your desk. Move those remotes/toys/pens/tinypumpkin(???)/etc away from where the client seats are. Remove stickers from laptop. Neaten up cables. Put some of your own work on the wall and shelves.

General crits of entire post: The post is kind off on a tangent as the guy was just showing us his office, the all knowing tone is a bit wearing, the pedantry of it was a bit trite. All in all I don't think I would read it, the entire post kills it.
