The reason is that its a direct airflow through the case, and that's what its build for, and that way i got some fresh air coming in as well as going out.
I heard some people complaining about the stock ones, and i have only had bad experiences with stock fans, so yes in my opinion it is.
Ah, but isnt it usually intake for the front and exhaust in the back?
It is indeed a bit unusual, but i wanted the front to exhaust, and to be fairly honest, i just wanted some air in as well. If i do it the other way around the difference isn't that big to be honest.
I'm glad i inspired you to do so! I love mine, and I'm 100% sure you will love yours as well!
Be sure to give me a heads up when you have swapped them out, would love to see the result!
Not really those fans in particular. They look nice, but performance wise are not great.
The cost justifies a 2-7 fps difference?
Sometimes people just want to build a new rig and get slightly better parts. Plus, that benchmark doesn't really use the processor, which is a huge improvement over the FX-8120. I imagine this rig will be used for next-gen gaming where multiple cores matter more.
Of which, why did OP used this particular benchmark, and use.
I did the rig upgrade cause i wanted to try something different basically, and on top of that the 8120 bottle necked the 780.
I have always used AMDs hardware, which my dad vouched for, and have always done. Its not really more than a year ago i started to get interested in hardware itself. And i did come to the point where i figured, "Hey now what i know whats a actually in my mashine, why not improve it and try something new?" and so i did.
How did you like building using the Corsair Air. Im on the border of planning to build using one.
Nice build, I worry that you might have dust problems in the future though.
OP how do you like the 540 I was thinking of purchasing one?
Dat boomboxes on tha floor! You like Bass music? :)
Its a Sony STR-DE245 hooked up with some old Jamo professional 200's, and a custom sub and some JBL rear speakers as well as a center(I have no clue what they are called). But not only do i like bass music but when watching a movie, there is nothing like 5.1 surround sound. Explosions, oh yea
Dat is so true! My love for DnB, Dubstep, Electro <3 , not to forget Rap/HipHop with epic Bass. Diplo huge love atm!
Amazing producer!
