Computer Setup

Just my opinion based on how I'd like it, but I'd move your desk back towards the window on the right so that the wall there turns your desk into a "U" shape. This will prevent people from looking at your screen from behind.

OP, be wise and do this.

Dont know if folks want to offer up their design ideas, but this is basically my current set up. Money isnt too much of a constraint, but im looking to do it on a reasonable budget. I dont need any new PC hardware (thats on the way), but need to figure out what to do with the desk/room situation. I plan on mounting the TV on the wall where its against now (so wife can still watch TV from that couch), but Im really tired of my desk situation. Any ideas?

As long as monitors are included in the PC hardware. I'd say a couple of Ikea Galant desks. Unless you want to make a custom desk.

I'll second the Ikea desks. You should be able to find an inexpensive option that is plenty large enough for your needs.

I'll likely forgo the custom build and roll with an IKEA desk as mentioned. Im thinking of painting the walls a darker grey, refinish the floor to a darker mocha finish, and getting a black desk... My wife insist she watch TV in the room, so i may look to replace that sofa as well with something less intrusive. Also, new blinds needed... Keep em coming!
