You are the first person to include any type of home server in their build. A great aspect that is most commonly ignored by many. Great Battle Station.
Awesome setup! That PC is basically identical to what I'd build if I were given $3,000 to do whatever I wanted with. Only real difference is I'd run some AMD R9 280X GPUs, solely because of the ridiculous amount of monitors I could run. Mmm, 9600x1080p. Actually, if that's possible, that would be amazing for playing flight sims. I must research
Do you that mic for recording?
Not really, I purchased it for use in a project a couple years back, now it's just used for screaming at people over Mumble / Skype.
I have been really contemplating purchasing this mic but have had some questions, maybe you could help me. Does this mic pick up a lot of background noise? I don't use a push to talk on mumble and I don't want background noise or me smashing my mechanical keyboard to set it off.
Background noise shouldn't be an issue. There's a dial on the back for you to select where you want it to pick up sound from. I have it right up next to my rig and with it only picking up sounds from infront of the microphone I can't hear any fan noise or anything coming through the microphone.
How does the h100i do for cooling your 3930k? i have a swiftech h220 on my 3930k but it's started clicking so i have to RMA it. thinking of just going with corsair instead.
