Very nice cable management and I think the green LEDs compliment the rest of the station.
I see you're a golfer.
I just spent 7 minutes trying to figure out what you saw.
We have nearly identical set-ups...haha
Get some icons for the games missing them
Awesome. ill check it out.
Super chill. Do you have a link to those speakers? I've never seen ones with 2 larger speakers in each.
Is that an h100i? Was it easy to install in the Trooper?
Yes and yes. you just have to take out the 200m fan up top and then there are mounts for 2 120's and you just mount it there
How do you like using Corsair Link? Is it more of a set it once and forget about it?
Pretty much. i set my fans to a really low rpm so i dont here them and changed the led color and haven't touched it since. and even with the fans on low rpms my i5 3570k never goes above 55c at 4.2ghz
Do you have to start the program with Windows for the settings to be applied or does it remember your settings and you can close the program?
Nope you set it up once and it remembers. it doesn't run in the background and it doesn't start up with windows.
Sounds perfect. Thank you.
DUDE that blue yeti mic is so good eh?!
Been seeing alot of those Astro Mixamps lately. I'm not really an audiophile but does it really affect the quality of the sound greatly rather than plugging it directly?
They're great because you can use your Audio Technica ATH-M50 2.0 studio monitor headphones to listen to music clearly and then game on them as well with 5.1 surround sound (Via Dolby Surround technology) without having to buy a second set of 5.1 headphones or 5.1 external speakers (Use a webcam as a mic or add an Ant Lion ModMic for input). Works great with consoles, for which they were originally designed, but also works well on PC via the optical port (USB sounds less clear).
I have the ATH-M50 headphones. You're saying they'll sound better if I get an Astro Mixamp? They can't do 5.1 without such a device? If it makes a big enough difference I may buy one. I don't know if I'm missing out
As far as just listening to music, the Mixamp won't make it sound better (Doesn't make it worse either). You can use one of it's equalizer modes to make it sound richer, but you can do that not a PC by itself just as well (The mixamp was made for consoles originally). But if you bought the ATH-M50s as I have, then you probably got them for their high quality sound reproduction for music, they're are better headphones for gaming (But gaming headphones don't sound as good for music).
