What do you mean by custom resolution?
How you likin' that keyboard so far? I been considering getting that one you have. And hows the noise on it? I've been using the razer black widow for about 2 years now and I've loved it and I am normally not a big fan of razer products. I will never go back to a non mechanical keyboard.
I like it very much, actually. I kinda miss the number pad because I am a Java developer and it comes in handy, but it's okay. The keyboard is kind of loud, which I personally like. Very springy and tactile feel when you push the keys. I also will never go back to rubber domes or chiclet keyboards. Edit: Words.
Did you try messing around with the resizing tool?
Nvidia GPUs allow you to set custom resolutions for your desktop. I think AMD gpus do the same thing but I've never had one. Just go to the Nvidia control panel and mess with your resolutions. I can make a guide if you need it.
Ok, well your TV doesn't actually have more than 1080 vertical pixels. What you are doing is called downsampling or supersampling. Your video card is rendering everything at 2560x1440 and then outputting it at 1920x1080. This has no effect on graphics quality whatsoever. It does give you a higher desktop resolution and put a heavier load on your GPU.
With cleartype and compensating for lack of saturation the text on my screen is very readable. I don't run many games at 2560 x 1440, but for Eclipse and ADT I have my spec sheet on one side of the screen and the IDE on the other. Instead of bashing someone's setup, perhaps you should actually ask questions about how they use it first. Now reading text at 2880 x 1800 is completely retarded and that's terrible for your eyes.
Uh how is a screenshot any sort of proof? We can't see how it looks on your 1080p TV. That's like trying to screenshot a cracked iPhone screen. We can't see it as you do.
