It's special. Because it's your baby that you paid for.
Sorry I forgot to put them up with it.
Lots of odd choices there. Can I ask why you decided to go with the X79 platform, a GTX 650, and a CX 750?
The reason for going with the x79 was because I had ordered and got all the parts for a LGA1155 build, but for some unknown reason I also got a 3820 in the box, free of charge. I have no idea why to this day. So I sent the old motherboard and CPU back, then went from there.
The GTX650 was mainly because it was reasonable priced, I just couldn't bring myself to spend over €120 (I think it was at the time) on a graphics card. CX750 was pretty much because I wanted a modular power supply from a reliable company.
Also, a big factor in choosing the parts was that this was my first foray into computer building so I didn't really know what to choose. Thankfully though, everything worked perfectly on first assembly, I suppose I'm quite lucky with regards to that looking back.
Thanks for the heads up...
Sorry for Grammar Naziing away at you, but random apostrophes make me itchy.
Very clean looking setup. You've obviously put forth a lot of time and effort. Props man!
Doesn't your PC heat up pretty bad where you have it? I once kept my PC in a little side compartment like that, and it made my room a sauna within two hours. I was afraid all my components were going to take heat damage lol.
Surprisingly enough no, not really. My room is actually very cold normally so that may help. Also I don't have to do any sort of intensive work on it or run it for long periods of time, so it stays fairly cool.
