Computer Setup

Moved across the country and into my first apartment in the SF Bay Area. Nothing special but very exciting for me :) Obligatory mention of being 18 years old.

The setup is beautiful. I really like how clean and simple it is. Do you love your ATH-M50s, or do you love them? I'm looking to get those soon and have heard nothing but awesomeness.

Is that a Mini Display port to VGA? I'm looking at to buy one to hook up eyefinity and wonder how good quality it is?

This is for you and LuunationHD, don't get a VGA adapter!! It's a huge waste of money, VGA is an outdated format, that is low quality, and increasingly hard to find anyways. Get a DVI adapter, trust me it'll be much better.

Oh ok, thanks. I'll avoid VGA in the future. How does DVI compare to HDMI?

DVI and HDMI are effectively the same thing, only real difference being HDMI also carries audio.

If you want it for Eyefinity you may need to get a "Active," Mini Display Port. Apple uses "Passive," adapters.
