Is that a wireless touchpad? I gotta ask why that over a normal mouse.

I bought one for my workstation because my wife grew up on laptops and hates mice. You can pry my Anywhere MX from cold, dead hands, though.
What are you using to allow you to drive all those external displays?
The rMBP can drive 3 displays (2 x Thunderbolt + 1 x HDMI) without a problem. I don't know if that's what he's doing, but there's a MacBook in the picture that could be it.
Where is the mechanical keyboard. Is that only for gamers?
I have a mechanical (two in fact the same one at work and home) and I'm not a gamer.

Not OP, but I'm a sysadmin for a design agency that is 90% Mac. I use a MacBook Pro and run VMs for my Windows and Linux needs.
Access to a bash shell and an easy to use interface. Makes more sense than Windows.
