I have, but haven't tried it yet. Might give it a go! I quite like having separate keyboards, as I quite often use the mac whilst gaming on the PC.

Synergy has caused some problems for me in games... remember to turn it off if you have any problems with mouse movements.

I have the Siberia Frost v2, and I really, really like them. But I really want to upgrade to the elites because of their more comfortable design and array of new features. The Frost v2's have some decent drivers, but they're also a little small so they can get uncomfortable after some time. I got the v2's cause they were solid headphones and also cause I loved the LED ear cups. They add a nice amount of flair. I would love to get the Elites since they have the ability to change colors as well. The design seems more sturdy since it has that steel headband. And the padding on it looks much more comfortable than the v2. AND the elites come with adapters so you can use it with a 3.5mm jack. I'd love it if my headphones weren't exclusively for my PC. Unfortunately, the v2's are only USB. So I cannot use them for anything else.

Yeah, they're the Siberia Elites. They're great, but they take a little getting used to. The earcups are very comfortable, but I find they get a bit hot after 3-4 hours and I have to take them off to cool down. I find the surround sound amazing in games like Battlefield, as you get a really immersive experience! I know they aren't "Audiophile" headphones with a DAC, but for what they are, and the sound quality they produce, they are 100% worth it!

Try them without virtual surround for a day or 2 of gaming. I used to be all for 7.1 virtual surround and then I switched it off for a week. It just sounds hollow to me now and really doesn't improve location awareness. Footsteps are still very easy to position :)

How are you liking them so far? Been debating on getting them in black.

I really like them, but they do get quite warm on your head after 3-4 hours gaming. I'd definitely recommend them though!

Yeah, my iMac is for work so I need something fast and reliable. The desktop is a work in progress gaming PC.

Obviously a GTX 680 would out perform a Radeon 7870, but being a the mobile type GTX, is slightly lesser in performance. It would be interesting to see how these two rigs stack up to eachother. Same thing with the 6300 vs i7. Your 6300 is clocked probably a good 2 whole Ghz higher than the i7 in the iMac. If you have Steam, would you mind opening a few games on each and reporting back some results comparing the two?

I don't have windows on my Mac, so I'll only be able to test a few games, but I'll give it a go for you.

The red rabbit for some reason reminds me of Bun bun (from Sluggy Freelance.) It makes the entire desk noticeably less friendly.

No problem, I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a really stable and solid desk. My dad's had his for nearly 20 years now and it's still as good as new!

What do you use the Mac for?

It's my day to day computer, but when it comes to work I use it for Photoshop/ Illustrator. Then some light video editing every now and then.
