I did a case swap from an Elite 431 too. I got it from a CyberPowerPc. I don't know about you, but I hated that case. I didn't realize that it didn't have cable managemant holes. (No cable management holes) + (non-modular power supply) = Fucking sucks. I love my new Define R4.
Haha yeah, it had no options for cable management whatsoever, and it was beat up. Although, the Phenom (Case it's in now) didn't have very many options either. I need a new motherboard and a modular power supply. I kind of stuffed all the cables behind the power supply.
Your cable management in your new rig looks really nice, considering it is a modular power supply and it is a small case.
Got the same headphones... love em
They're good indeed. My only problem with them is the rotator on the left side is about to break, which is why I wrapped a little tape around it to prolong it's life a little.
I had a pair of headphones that started breaking. So I MacGyver the shit out of them... didnt last long
Sounds like you had Turtle Beach's. Ammiright?
Yes. X10? It was an old wired xbox headset
I would have a panic attack if I saw parts laying on carpet or something like that.
My bed blanket never usually absorbs static electricity, certainly not as much as my carpet does. I took precautions and sprayed the bed with static guard before I started.
For all my speedcubing needs.
I am thinking of doing something similar with a 1st gen i5 and 6850 but not sure its worth sending money on a case for a portable desktop for travel when I just recover little bit of money from selling it.
A $100 couldn't hurt unless the money is tight. It's worth it if you're going from a big case to small case, and you have a mATX motherboard. If you don't, then you would just be spending more money so maybe it wouldn't be worth it.
