Interesting setup concerning the portrait monitor. Just out of curiosity, is there any reason you prefer to have it where it is, that far away?
Started using the monitor in portrait recently as its helpful for report writing.
If you only read the title, you would think it would be a picture of a computer aquarium fail. But thankfully that's not what it is!
Can you tell me which model/brand those speakers are? looks kinda like a pair of denon's...
They are some quite old Tannoy Mercury MX1 speakers, still sounding great.

You uh... you gonna put clamps over those barb fittings? Or is the tubing just smaller than the fitting?
Shouldn't need to, I think it looks way nicer with just barbs and nothing else. The tubing was a real pain to get on and it isn't stressed in anyway so I doubt its going anywhere.
What receiver is that? Harmon I'm guessing?
It's indeed a harmon/kardon amp. Specifically the AVR 171.
