That's still a great case
It is, but I fancy a bit of change.
I just changed from a 600t to an R4, it was just too big and too loud, still a great case, but glad I changed.
I've been looking into an R4, but the H440 by NZXT is looking really tempting
If you're happy with the price and styling of the H440 I would say it's a no brainer. Sounds like the best case available from reviews.
That case looks frickin awesome!
How loud it is has little to do with the case, and more to do with it's uses ,fan configuration, and whether or not you're using the mesh side panel, or the plastic.
The 600t doesn't have a mesh side panel? Mine was a solid piece. I did change the fans and that just made it louder, it was too big and bulky for me.
The special edition comes with a interchangeable mesh/perspex plastic window for the side panel. I have the white special edition and it's a tank but still a good looking and well designed case but completely impractical if you have to transport your pc.
Yes. The mesh side panel should have come in the box.
Try the corsair vengeance c70.
I can't stand my 600t. The power button is broken and the fan controller is useless especially with those terrible fans. The build quality is severely lacking.
Case is getting old... is it falling to pieces? If not you're falling into the whole "I must upgrade for bragging rights" trend, save your money for a steam sale or another SSD.
Some people just appreciate aesthetics more than others. My first build I picked up a sale case for $50 to save money and because it was good for transporting and I had to move 3 times in 3 years for school. Now I have an NZXT case and I love it. Sexy as fuck.
Some people just get sick of looking at the same thing for years. I knew after 2 years, it was time for my HAF 932 to go bye bye.
Mine didn't make it that far
I can see what you mean, but it's honestly because I get sick of looking at the same case for long periods of time, it's been lasting me for about a year and a half or so, but now I want to upgrade it to something a little more pleasing to view for another 2 years or so. Plus I am waiting for SSDs to drop a bit more before I buy another one, I want to get a 1tb or 500gb for games and such.
I understand your logic entirely, H440 looks incredible but the lack of 5.25" bays rules me out, need them for fan controller.
Fair enough, all down to personal preference, I personally do not like 5.25" bays
Did you use a marker on your power supply lettering?
Actually, my cousin did, I got it handed down to me.
How do you like the 144hz monitor? A big difference from 60hz?
Honestly, yes I absolutely love the difference, I don't see really well with colour anyway so IPS was practically useless to me. But if you play FPS games or just love smooth actions, 144hz is definitely the tree you should start barking up.
I play a lot of fps. Tax money coming in. Upgrade time!
There you go then :3
Grab yourself a QNIX 1440p monitor, overclocks no problem to 120hz.
I have a the same keyboard and its so good. Blue switches, though. :)
That microphone... How is it for you? I'm in the market for one to use whilst gaming.
I only use it for Skype/TS3/Mumble etc, and it is really good, I use MX Browns and DID use MX blues, so I cannot really test the sound of MX Blues on them for you as I have not tried it myself, it barely picks up my browns and if you position it right it will not pick up anything that's not in it's radius. And the sound quality is just tremendous for the price.
Yeah it seems to be a popular, cost effective choice. Definitely got good reviews all round, thank you.
650W is enough for you? Concidering buying a new power supply and aiming towards 750W. But unsure if that is to much! What do you power with it, any other USB-part, CD-readers?
I have an Optical Drive and that's about it, but yes I want to get rid of this thing as I'm scared that it will all go poof, so when my birthday rolls around I'm gonna get myself a 850w
Looks like you aslo have 2 cables in you GPU, same as for me. I am stilla ble to rock a 500W, but it is a bit weak. Feels way safer too spend $100-200 than playing on a 4y/o 500W!
Yeah, I have a 500w with a gtx760, same cpu, similar mobo, optical drive and hdd. Will feel so much better once I get a 750w or better in there.
I'm also going to ditch the optical drive, although I doubt that uses even 1% of the psu. But honestly I think I used it for the mobo installation and haven't had a need for it since.
I was thinking of ditching it aswell, but recently built a new comp. without an optical drive and it was a real pain, USBs is not yet a relyable source of windows installations, from my experience.
The specs are in the album but it's an EVGA GTX 780
Yeah, it's all great and stuff until your drivers crash and that little sentry gun you have is all like 'da fuck?'. Then you're fucked.
Man yours look beautiful, may I see some more pics of your PC? possibly some internals?
Thank you! I actually really like your white table and more techy look but it wouldn't go well with the rest of may apartment.
Deathadder Master Race reporting in.
I've got that same case, and love it!
Best. case. ever. But damn is it heavy...
If you mean the front 200mm it's the default corsair one that comes with the 600t, the rear one is a Corsair AF 120
If you end up selling the Corsair, I may be interested. I love the setup, by the way.
Are the disks supposed to be in front of the fan airflow? I honestly have no idea and I was just wondering if it's there to cool or just because you don't have anywhere else to put them
