Actually got it off eBay, brand new from Germany. It's branded as 'My Sit' - but the seller on eBay (ma-trading-gb) has none of them in stock/left :(
Damn it looks externally comfortable
Yes, for a 75 quid eBay chair, it's remarkably comfortable. Has recline and movable armrests, too. Might be worth periodically checking the eBay seller - the other chairs they sell are likely to be equally comfy.
Q6600 on the machine I'm on right now... Its hard to replace things that still work really well.
I just recently upgraded from a q9550 with a gtx 470. That rig was amazing. I'm not sure how much I really upgraded.
Agreed, I was running a Q9550 until last year. Damn fine CPUs and I could max out most games except for Crysis 3 rope physics that would tank it (prior to them greatly optimising that).
Im still on my q6700 rig with an upgrade planned for next year. i am shocked how far this awesome build took me this cycle, a couple upgrades here and there but this cpu will be forever treasured.
My pride and joy, those things - Bowers & Wilkins 685's - only 2.0 stereo but they sound sooooo smooth.
I'm with you. I prefer a great set of stereo speakers instead of a mediocre 5/7.1 surround sound thing.
I'd still love the centre speaker for my setup, but i'm not bothered about surround sound.
Yea it'd be great for movies but I've got nowhere to put one or the money!
I thought that said "My 6 year olds" and it about blew my mind lol. Nice setup though, OP.
That's a nice pair of 685's you've got there
This is my plan for 2015. Build something to last me till 2022ish.
Tip: do not buy the most high end parts. You will eventually want to upgrade and and experience buyer remorse. I know this isn't correct for all people though.
I'm surprised the Q9650 hasn't burnt your house down yet! The Q6600 I had in days gone by ran hot. What have you to drive those monitors?
Remember though - Q6600 = 65nm, Q9650 = 45nm, runs much cooler. On a Tuniq Tower 120, it idles at 32 to 35 degrees, and load is never more than 65 degrees :D
I did not know that! That runs a lot cooler than my old Q6600. I ran an old Zalman CNPS something or other and it routinely hit 80C at load, at 3.4GHz, 1.4v. That thing overclocked like a train.
My back got goosebumps just by looking at that chair.
Looks nice but gotta get rid of Vista! Windows 7 is much more optimized.
