How do you like the s4? Debating on getting it, but I already have a z1 and x1, should I go for it? Or get an f1, or both?
It depends on what you want to do. An S4 is great for all in one controls with Traktor. It allows you to control all four decks, effects, loops, transport control, and hotcues from the same controller. It also has inputs for CDJs and turntables if you want to use timecode or normal vinyl. As someone who uses all four decks and likes having buttons and knobs for each function, I love it. Only downsides i'd say are how the microphone isn't a separate input on the back and build quality. After maybe 3 or so years of continuous use, except to push harder on some buttons to make them work. Only get an F1 if you really want to utilize the remix decks.
I also have the HDJ2000's. Love em!
So jealous! I am in my senior year at my college and I have had a roommate in the smallest dorm here, which is smaller than yours. I've gotten pretty sick of having such a small, cramped dorm room, can't wait to graduate in a few months.
You should have been an RA, could have had a room all to yourself and gotten paid.
How do the A2's sound? I have a audiotechnica LP-120 (for listening to vinyl only) that i just hook computer speakers directly into the built in pre-amp. Are they worth it? Just really into how minimal they are and living in an apartment i don't have much room/can't listen to music too loudly.
I really enjoy mine. Before them I had some crappy computer monitors with a sub. I think the A2s have a bit more of a well rounded sound which are great for desktop monitors, and even then they handle bass very well with the woofers and small bass port. No problems so far, nice build quality, and you can get wedges for them.
Such a sick setup dude, I'm jealous of all that equipment! However, even though I lack the DJ stuff, I do still have my dope-ass drum set.
I would think having two twin mattresses right next to each other would be annoying
Somehow the N64 with a single controller plugged in gave the title a sad twist...
I've got three more in the desk to play with my housemates, don't worry.
